In her free time, Mil enjoys:
Herpetology (she breeds native Australian geckos and pythons!), snow skiing, travelling (anywhere - but especially overseas), listening to music (loves to hear live bands!), watching movies/DVDs, live comedy, sleeping.

Heroes is a strong word, but Mil would like to acknowledge some special people currently in her life:

Jason... for enduring Mil's cold feet, laziness, whacky sense of humour, the times when she goes completely nuts, the insanity of 2004, the endless 'find-a-words' during 11 flights across Canada and the USA and back in 2005, yet still loving her as much as you do.
Mil was born in the mid 70s and grew up in the Yarra Valley, Victoria (Australia).
In 2000 she sent the first chapter of "The Darkness Within" via email to her partner, Jason Nahrung, who lived in Brisbane, Queensland. He in turn, wrote the second chapter, and so the process continued until a novella was completed around one year later.
In 2001, Mil moved to Brisbane.
"The Darkness Within" was then workshopped intensively by Jason in 2004 - 2005 and became one of the winning applicants to be published by Lothian - and then Hachette Livre Australia - for an adult 'dark suspense' series.
The novel is OUT NOW in Australia and was officially launched on 9th June 2007 in Australia.
PRAISE FOR "THE DARKNESS WITHIN"- "The Darkness Within" received an Honourable Mention at the Australian Aurealis Awards in February 2008.
It was nominated for an Australian Ditmar Award for "Best Australian Speculative Fiction Novel 2007".
The book was also nominated for the "Australian Shadows Award" for best Horror Novel 2007 by the Australian Horror Writer's Association.

Hey there Mil! :) How are you? Thank you for checking out my tracks, I'm glad you enjoy them. I currently do not have an EP out, I wrote about 40 tracks in the past 4 years and never assembled a proper album to put out. I'm thinking about releasing a 15-track album sometime next year. Whenever that happens, I will be sure to let you know.
