About me: Mild Peril is a quarterly diy cut n' paste style punk/hardcore/ska zine run based in Norwich. Established in 2007 we have built up a loyal following around the globe. We love to interview bands, review records and shows, and rant rather too much. We love to have as many people contribute or help out in anyway possible so give us a shout if you wanna get involved. We are based in my music room at 25 Swansea road, Norwich, NR2 3HU, UK, so send any correspondants there. Mild Peril is available from: The above address (send £1 & SAE, 50p postage will cover) or £1 from: Soundclash in Norwich, Drift in Norwich, Punker Bunker in Brighton, All Ages Records in London, Corndog and Squinty Joe Distros.
You can also get it Pete at shows he hangs out at. Zines or distros who wanna trade or stock our zine, please get in touch.
Cheers N Beers Pete.

LAST GANG IN TOWN STRUMMERVILLE BENEFIT & LAST GANG’S 6th BIRTHDAY GIG
THE YALLA YALLAS are a fantastic punk rock ‘n’ roll band from Leeds. Their name was chosen as a rallying call to unify. “So long liberty, lets forget you didn’t show. Not in my time” a sentiment expressed on an early Joe Strummer recording & one which struck a chord with the band and their audience. Some members have appeared in The Dead Pets, 3milehigh & The Gushers & they now share a common goal to bring anthemic mayhem to wherever they play. http://www.myspace.com/theyallayallas
THE TAGNUTS Cambridge “Gimp-Core” ska punkers are back! After almost a year away The Tagnuts are ready to do it again. This is the hometown night of a UK tour that sees them playing across the country.http://www.myspace.com/thetagnuts
THE TEN-O-SEVENS These four lads combine elements of early punk rock with the sound & attitude of the most obnoxious of garage punk bands. Their songs are fast, loud, snotty & catchy simple chord tight style tunes that will stick to your head like cheap superglue! http://www.myspace.com/krummylanky
THE DEAD BATTERIES They are fast, they have a lot to say, and they say it with venom! Great anarcho punx from Ipswich, don’t miss them! http://www.myspace.com/thedeadbatteries
There are plenty of great Strummer/Clash related Prizes to be won, Last Gang DJ’s playing punk & ska, drink promotions - it’s a Strummerville Benefit and Last Gang Xmas Party/ 6th Birthday all rolled into one!

NEW TOWN KINGS - Back by popular demand this 9 piece bring their infectious and energetic brand of 2Tone, ska, reggae and dub back for a triumphant return to the Man on the Moon. Since releasing their debut album “Sound Of The New Town” on Do The Dog records the band have had gig and festival crowds across the UK begging for more. With a new studio recording in the pipeline, the future promises to be bright for the New Town Kings. http://www.myspace.com/newtownkings
RESOLUTION 242 - Their debut CD out on Do the Dog Records has had some great reviews and secured them airplay on Radio One’s “The Lock Up”. Resolution 242 have shared the stage with the likes of Inner Terrestrials and King Blues and played the Rebellion Festival in 2009. They sound great and they’ve got plenty say. They don’t claim to have the answers, but aim to raise awareness about important issues that they think need attention and debate, in the only medium they can… music…so get involved and enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/resolution242
CAPTAIN BLACK NO STARS - This Norfolk reggae collective have come a long way in short time, gaining fans across the region with their unique sound inspired by both the Trojan / 2Tone sounds and UK Punk rock. They bring the early Clash forays into Jamaican music to mind but with a contemporary slant. They kick off proceedings as the first of 3 Do The Dog bands that will have you skanking all night!http://www.myspace.com/captainblacknostars
