Current big interests: Improv comedy, reviewing restaurants, dancing
Music
Electronica. of nearly all types (rave, club trance, happy hardcore, Kraftwerk, The Faint, The Postal Service, DJ Sonar, Bad Boy Bill, Terrance Parker, ACG3, The Crystal Method, you name it).
Dance music of nearly all types including but definately not limited to TECHNO, swing, tango, waltz, cha-cha, and bolero.
Other rock/jazz/alt/ska/wierd stuff. The Eels (and therefore MC Honkey, E), BRMC, I am the World Trade Center, Size 14, Soul Coughing, Gerry Mulligan, Wesley Willis.
Rockabilly/Bluegrass/Irish. But not country. Maybe western, sometimes.
Plus I like a bunch of normal stuff like: Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind, and stuff.
Every so often, I play tenor saxophone (previously bari sax too). I also play bad guitar and worse harmonica.
Movies
All my DVDs were stolen a couple months after I moved to Kansas City.
Movies I'm still fiending for that I haven't re-purchased: Tron, Fight Club, Antitrust, Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail.
Movies I love: Back to the Future(s), Indianna Jones(es), Eurotrip, Wayne's World, and especially most of the Matrix(es).
DVD's I have that I wish the robbers would come back and steal: The Mod Squad, Absolon, my roomate's copy of that Bjork concert he plays way too often.
Movies that I liked that I rarely expect other people to have seen: Human Traffic, Bubba HoTep, Ali G Indahouse, The Dog Park.
Television
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Daily Show, Conan O'Brien, SG1, SNL. Oh, and turning it off and going out and doing something I might actually remember a month later.

About me: Call me an explorer. Except, instead of gallivanting over hemispheres to discover that the world is round, I explore cities. I run around all over this crazy town, Kansas City, and have a blast doing it. My favorites are restaurants, places to dance (esp electronica), and recently, coffee shops.
Unfortunately, I don't get to do that as often as I like as a fair portion of my time is consumed by work, improv comedy (and other stage-like performing), and pursuing my various dreams (of which there are arguably too many). I have a healthy obsession with jackets and hats. I collect elephants, but my roommates love them more than I do. I keep chivalry alive. I toothpick. I put ranch on many things, and if not that, chocolate. I'm an ENTP. I write really long emails because I like to tell stories. I find myself at Jacob's Well every few weeks. I am tired of talking about myself.
Who I'd like to meet: You. The real you. Especially the you that can talk about something (anything!) other than what show they're watching on TV these days.
