   About mild winter

In the fall of 2006, we started collaborating on a bunch of old songs we had each written over the last few years. After we had the first batch completed, we started recording our first EP, Don't Be Nervous, with the help of some friends.

We began playing live around town in the winter of 2007 with a number of different people. That spring our good friend Nik Combs started playing drums and a few other instruments with us. We started working on new material together and played more shows around town. By mid summer we had to take a break from Mild Winter to focus on fixing up our new home and putting the final touches on our wedding

With our busy summer behind us we spent the fall playing shows and working on our new record. We released our new nine song CD, a wanderer's home, in mid February. You can pick up a copy at shows, Plan 9 Music or online from CD Baby.
Thanks,
Mild Winter

So here it is in EPIC proportions - "The Dusty Tales". The first main release on Dust Wind Tales. It features 25 bands/artists from the UK, USA & Europe. From finger picking beauty to wild drone. The compilation features on 2 white faced CDs held in a yellow & brown spray painted half size super clear dvd case. There are 2 inserts (featuring an exclusive or famous quote by each band) & a Dust Wind Tales badge (made especially for this release) to accompany the CDs .
