Welcome! I hope you enjoy your visit here. One of my pleasures is to meet and get to know new friends. Since I spend so much time in front of a computer, I might as well use it to expand my world.
I'm the father of five sons, a grandfather, and great-grandfather. I worked in the computer information field, the corporate world in a cubicle, for over twenty-five years. That career ended almost ten years ago, and I've been pretty much self employed since then.
I've always loved to travel. Within the US I've spent a little time in Boston, DC, San Francisco, Orlando, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and Honolulu. I've briefly visited London and Geneva (both very interesting cities). I've spent a little more time in Nigeria with dearest friends. I would like to see India, Egypt, Southeast Asia, Israel, Japan, and more of Africa.
My home is Denver, Colorado; not the suburbs, not anything that looks like the suburbs, but within easy walking distance of Downtown Denver. In years gone by I used to walk or catch the Light Rail downtown to work. My neighborhood could best be described as mixed ethnicity, working class. I've lived here nearly 25 years and seen many changes.
It's not uncommon for friends to call me GENE GENE THE DANCING MACHINE. If you grew up in the '70s (like I did) then you probably know the origin of Gene Gene The Dancing Machine. If that's before your time and you haven't seen the reruns, let me introduce you to the ORIGINAL GENE GENE THE DANCING MACHINE, from The Gong Show . . .
Sharing Interests With You
These interests will be featured regularly in my BLOG. If you ever want to isolate Blogs specific to one of these topics, search for the CAPITALIZED WORD between the [square braces].

This kind if sets the scenerio for fearful future. I understand there is diminishing prime real estate in space. For the strategic placementl of communications, and or military hardware in space what with the other jetsam blazing around up there at +17k mph, I'm wonder if we're in for a shooting match as different nation start to jockey for positions to occupy optimal ' space real estate'. When will it begin. And where will it end? I would opt for a 'Roddenburyian 'utopian resolution to this planets common problems, as I feel all of this planets' problems are ecommon and could bear the influence of trust, and freindship. Rather than continuing to plod down the path we seem to be on. With it's final status being decided at Armeggedon. Your thoughts?!?
I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, but it came back... I asked,"Why?"... the Angel said: "Angels don't watch over Angels!" Twenty Angels are in your World. Ten of them are sleeping. Nine are playing. One is reading this comment... Send this to ten friends, including me. As soon as you get five replies, Someone you Love will quietly surprise You
