Hey guys, I'm Miles Bletchley of Slytherin. I am finally out of Hogwarts and going to try and find work in the quidditch area. Oh yeah...and I AM NOT JARED LETO SO GET OVER IT!!!

I've lived in Managua all my life, which may sound weird because it's in Africa and I'm not African...well, my mom always loved Africa and made frequent trips there, so once she married my dad we moved. I love it here in England it is very nice, and it is alot colder which is something I like since it was very hot in Africa. One day I'll go back and see all my friends.

One pretty important thing I've left out is quidditch. I'm the Keeper of the Slytherin team, and I bloody good one if I do say so myself. I've been the Keeper for a few years now, I hope that my quidditch career takes me places.

Hope that's given you enough information about me, I'm a down to earth guy with a few passions in the arts and things like that. I'm not a typical Slytherin but I possess the qualities: ambitious, pure, cunning, and sly. I'm just not sure if you want to see those qualities in me...

Part III
She let go of his face then went into the other room to change back into her clothes while saying, "If I marry you now I will end up like your mother, nagging you to do what you should or should not and stuck to always be second to your heart. I know where your loyalty stands. I'm sure if You-Know-Who asked you to kill me, you would do it, but not without a little resistance I'm sure." Gabrielle came back into the parlor and handed the dress to Miles, "I'm not going to the party, not until you decide whats more important in you life."
She looked into his eyes with a little more compassion now, "I've fought for you, Miles, I've fought to put up with the life you know....but are you going to fight for me?"
She heard Miles's mother screeching from the other room and winced, "And move out of your mother's home, it's not right for a man your age to still be living with his mother." She eyed him one more time then turned to walk up to Miles's wing to collect her coat.

Part II
"What in God's name is going on?" She grabbed his wrist unwilling to let go. But the scene played out in front of her and she watched with complete shock. It was only after Miles's wrist turned into a paw as he ran after his mother that Gabrielle let go of him. She cursed at his back after he rounded a corner, she should have known something like this would come up. She was tired of Miles's mood swings that would usually result in the destruction of somthing glass. Miles was a dominating man, if she was going to marry him and live with him for the rest of her life then she needed to be the type of woman who knew when to put her foot down. When Miles came back in the room looking a little pleased with himself, Gabrielle met his stride and struck him across the face.
"If your going to marry me and I'm going to be a part of your life then you need to get a few things straightened out first," she hissed then pulled his face down to her eye level, "your not ready for marriage and I don't know when you will ever be."

Part I
Gabrielle opened the long box that sat in the corner and pulled out a most elegant, blue grown. Small, sapphires trailed along the neckline, flowed down the stomach, and circled around the back to waterfall down the soft train. It was breathtaking, as all the fancy dresses Miles bought her were. She held it up to her shoulders to see how it would look on herself and smirked.
"If this is your way of buying me into your little party then I accept." Gabrielle disappeared into the next room to slip into the dress while calling out, "Just this last time though!"
While zipping up the side of the dress she heard a smash of glass coming from the other room and quickly ran in to see what had happened. It appeared that Miles had throw an ornament against the wall and was now fuming with an anger that Gabrielle had not seen coming at all.

Part II
The house elf followed Miles and Gabrielle into the parlor then closed the door behind itself when it left leaving the couple alone to enjoy each other's company. Gabrielle dug into the boxes eagerly trying to find her favorite of all the decorations but finding that it was a tough choice. Finally she found a simple, large, glass ball that seemed  to call her name but it needed something to it. With a flick of her wand shining sparkles floated around inside the glass bulb like fairy dust, a charm she used on her niece, Victoire, to help her fall asleep when she was still a baby. Gabrielle smiled then levitated the gall ball onto a safe branch on the tree.
As Gabrielle pulled more ornaments from the boxes she caught Miles eye and blushed, "So this party. Am I invited or are you going to send me home later on?" She winked, teasing him. "I admit sometimes I get intimidated by your family parties. They're so elegant and everyone is so...posh, I'm afraid I might trip and spill punch on myself then I wold forevermore be a disgrace to them." She laughed but it was true. "Then they will find out that I am your unannounced fiancée and would never approve of me." Her distracted mind dropped the levitation charm she performed on a red ornament and it shattered on the ground. "Sorry." She winced then flicked her wand, "Repairo." The shattered pieces flew back together then she hung it on a low branch

Part I
"Happy Christmas." Gabrielle smiled then waited for Miles to finish dressing. When he emerged from the closet he looked dashing as always except for his hair which remained tasseled from sleep. Gabrielle laughed at the sight of it but inwardly she liked it quite a bit and was sad to see it get combed back into place. She took the liberty of tasseling it again by flicking her wand when Miles led her downstairs and hoped that he wouldn't notice.
As soon as they reached the bottom of the staircase, a little house elf, pulling a cart of dusty boxes, stepped in front of them with an excited grin on his face. Gabrielle's interest peaked when she heard of Bletchley traditions. Minor things such as decorating the Christmas tree seemed so common for the Bletchleys, but she was no less delighted to hear of it. Ah, a Christmas party, it was more like them to host an expensive party
She opened one of the dusty boxes on the cart and pulled out a sparkling Christmas ball that looked fragile with age but beautiful all the same, "I would love to help," she said with a smile, admiring the decoration, "I suppose if the guests are coming soon we should start straight away."

Part II

It seemed that fate always landed her in the same spot so many times, at the gate of Miles' home, gazing up at its glory. Gabrielle adjusted herself at the front door after knocking. She smoothed the waterfall of silvery blonde hair descending to her waist with a gloved hand when a rather beaten looking house elf answered the door. To her surprise, the smell of gingerbread washed over Gabrielle as soon as she stepped inside. Curious. Miles didn't seem the holiday cheer type, but then again he ceased to surprise her. The house elf pointed Gabrielle to the room that Miles was in before sauntering off. Careful not to let her heels click on the oak floor, she crept to Miles' room and quietly opened the door. It seemed that Miles had fallen asleep waiting for her. Fully clothed in his usual suit, he lay on his grand bed with one hand on his stomach and the other behind his head. Gabrielle slipped out of her shoes and crept into the bed with Miles, she lay her head on his arm and laced her fingers through the hand resting on his stomach, "Wake up," she whispered.

Part I

Gabrielle let the splintering wind whip her face while she sat on the shoreline. It was nearing Christmastime and Fleur and Bill Weasley had invited the Delacours to spend Christmas with them in their new home on the cliffs. Though she willingly submitted to authority, Gabrielle could only think of spending Christmas with one person this year, Miles Bletchley. It felt as though it had been decades since the last time she saw him. Sure, they would owl eachother every now and then, but it just wasn't the same as seeing eachother or holding eachother. Just as she muffed her ears with her wool gloves, keeping the whistling wind from freezing them, she heard another noise that didn't sound at all like the wind. When she glanced around she was nearly startled off the cliff to see a large black owl glaring at her, a roll of parchment strung to it's foot. Gabrielle recognized this owl to be one of Miles' most prized pets and quickly rushed over to untie the note. After reading it, a bittersweet smile worked it's way onto the veela's perfect lips. A new happiness filled her and she departed to see Miles a few hours later.

Part I

I could feel Miles' eyes on me, it was beginning to get a bit uncomfortable. Annoyed and unappetized to finish my dinner, I pushed away from the long Ravenclaw table and grabbed my bags. Mandy stared at me in surprise, her spoon was hovering in mid-air a few inches from her mouth but she just sat there like a statue and stared. "What?" I demanded. I was no longer in the mood for joking around. I felt humiliated and run down all in the same day. Mandy shrugged and took the spoon into her mouth, "Your degree of anger has just increased, I can tell." She said in a mouthful. "Wouldn't yours if you felt vaguely violated by a stare?" I hissed and nodded my head in the direction of the Slytherin table where I knew Miles was still watching. "C'mon, I don't feel like walking back to the dorms by myself...God know what could happen." I grabbed Mandy and Orla by the wrists and yanked them out of their seats. Together the three of us proceeded down the hallway, where I was far away enough from Miles to feel safe. Soon, my pace slowed down and my clutch on my friends' wrists loosened, I was beginning to feel carefree and I even laughed at Orla's ridiculous jokes. But there were footsteps coming fast from behind us that made me frown and become weary again.

Part II

Before I knew it, Miles Bletchley was standing right in front of me, blocking my path. Blood rushed to my face and pumped quickly through my veins, it was either rage or something else that I couldn't quite identify. I tried to step around him but he blocked my way every time, it was turning into a sort of strange, enraged tango in my mind. I glared up into his silver eyes but he was so much taller than myself that I had to lean my head back farther than I wanted to and that ruined the intimidating posture that I was trying for. Mandy and Orla's voices sounded muffled, like I was underwater, I couldn't make sense of what they were saying, however, I knew that they were saying something indecent to my tall, dark persuer. Miles barely flickered an eyelid and was able to scare my friends away....which disappointed me to a certain level but I stood my ground. When Mandy and Orla let us be, the tall and intimidating Miles softened down to a gentler, sweeter state. It surprised me to hear him confess and I admit that my heart sighed a few times when I gazed into his eyes. When he finished his side of the story he brokenheartedly walked away and I was left in a shocked, sadened state.

Part III

Early the next morning I was awoken by a voice whispering my name. I mumbled a bit before emerging from my rumpled bedsheets. My silvery blonde hair was all afrizzle and my lips were pale from the blood that had refused to circulate to them in the night. By the way that the dorms were dimly lit, I could tell that I was the crack of dawn and that I was going to kill whoever had disturbed my rest. But blinking a few times to adjust my eyes to the morning, I found a stony pair of eyes and a stern, tight lip to be the face of Hogwarts' co-headmaster, or headmistress, Professor McGonagall. "Miss Delacour." She said in her heavy noted voice, "The headmaster would like to see you in his office right away." I stared in confusion and shook my head to make sure that I wasn't imagining things, "I beg your pardon?" I asked when the illusion of the headmistress wouldn't disappear. "Professor Dumbledore would like to see you right away." She repeated strictly for the last time, I could tell. "Um....alright, Professor." When McGonagall left the dorm room I slipped out of bed and into a robe to cover my silk sleeping gown then made my way down to the headmaster's office. After a few hours of listening to instructions from Professor Dumbledore. Ron, Hermione, Cho, and myself agreed to be put to sleep and held hostage underwater for our Triwizard contestants to rescue us. "Now, I promise that you shall not wake up in the water and that it shall not hurt." Said Dumbledore before he flicked his wand and I, plus the rest of the hostages, blacked out.

Part IV

When I awoke again, water was sloshing against my face, I thought Dumbledore said that we wouldn't wake up in the water? What lies. There were two arms around my own pulling me out of the icey lake and onto the dock. When I wiped my eyes, I found those arms to be Ron Weasley's and Harry Potter's. "You okay, Gabrielle?" asked Harry, pronouncing my name in a very un-french accent. I gushed at his question, flattered that he had chosen to save Ron's life plus my own, "I will be now." Harry didn't seem to get the suggestion but he nodded, smiled, then walked away. I sighed and shivered a bit, when I looked down at myself I noticed that all I was still wearing was my silk nightgown, which clung to my body from the water and made me look as though I wasn't wearing anything. I gasped and pulled at it to try and get it unstuck from my body but luckily at that moment a warm towel was draped over my shoulders followed by an intense drying by scrubbing my head hard with the towel. "Ouch!" I yelped as the Hogwarts school nurse accidentaly pulled my hair with the towel. When Madame Pomfrey thought that I was dry enough she then spooned a warm liquid into my mouth. The liquid burned my throat with it's magical heat. My eyes watered, through the blur I could make out a dark figure watching me, I blinked a few times to clear the water. It was Miles Bletchley, he had a mixture of concern and hatred for me on his face. I tried to smile at him but the hot liquid made me wince instead. I watched him turn on his heel and walk away from me. It felt terrible.

Part V

After the 2nd task, I wanted some alone time. I found my way to the courtyard, still dressed in a nightgown and towel, my bare feet didn't make a sound as I walked. I found a decent spot to sit, a short stone wall that seperated the courtyard from the outdoor hallway. I picked my legs up from the cold stone floor and hugged them against my chest. Everything was quiet and I liked it that way. I closed my eyes and listened to the wind. Soon enough, I heard silent footsteps, I peeked out of one eye, it was Miles, he seemed as though he wanted to talk to me, but just couldn't find the right words. He fidgited and constantly ran his hands through his hair. I smiled to myself, loving how he didn't know I was watching him. Then finally, he approached me, I squeezed my eyes shut again, until I heard him speak completely out of breath. I opened my eyes innocently as though I didn't know what was going on and swung my legs down from the wall. But what Miles asked next took me completely by surprise. I gaped at him. Ask me to the Yule Ball? That was a bit...out of the blue. Miles expression went from hopeful to disappointed. The wheels in my heads turned and turned. I slid down from the wall slowly and stared up at his full height. I folded my arms across my chest awkwardly before replying, "Um, I'll give it some thought." Then I walked back to the dorms.

Part VI

I really did need some time to think about it. In my head, I still didn't trust Miles fully and his reputation didn't help that either. However, since I didn't have a date to the ball and I kind of owed Miles one for being a jerk to him, I might. I layed down in my own four-poster bed and stared up at the ceiling in thought. I turned the question over in my head one, two, three times. I began to imagine going to the Ball with him. The scenario played itself out like a real situation. I would come down from the grand staircase elegant in a soft, blue dress and meet Miles at the bottom dressed dashingly in black dress robes. I would take his hand and he would escort me into the Great Hall where people would whisper amongst themselves if we were going out or not. I shook my head to get the fantasy out. I needed something to distract myself with. Pulling on some suitable clothes, I raced through the rain and to the library one more time. I pulled a random book of the shelf and sat down where I sat when Miles defended me from Blasie. I opened the book to a random page, not absorbing a word of it. The previous days events ran through my head. Miles towering over Blaise and telling him that I was going to the Ball with him. Perhaps this was all a part of Miles plan. Maybe he really did want a trophy date. What if he was only being nice to me because he didn't want me to think that he was using me. My face turned red with anger and I slammed the book shut and stormed out of the library.

Part VII

Later on during dinner, I decided to make a grand entrance. I wore my most appealing clothes which fit my body nicely and complimented my curves. My hair was combed straight and hung down to my waist like a waterfall of silvery gold. I bit my lips and pinched my cheeks to capture natural red lips and pink cheeks then swept into the Great Hall. I struted down the aisle like it was a runway and I was the prize model. Boys from every table stopped what they were doing to admire and wolf whistle at me. I winked at a few of them and continued on to the Slytherin table for my grand finale. I saw Miles watching me with his mouth hanging open and his eyes adaze. I smiled sweetly as I walked past him to kiss Blaise on the cheek, "I would love to go to the Ball with you."

Part I
I soon realized that I had been holding my breath since the moment Blaise walked into the library to the moment that he walked away from me and I let it out in a lungfull. My attention turned back to my notes, my poor neglected notes, I wasn't absorbing a word, I had been reading the same sentence over and over again. What's the use of coming to the library to study when you don't really study? I have no idea. But studying there would be! "Oi!" I heard from over my shoulder, the voice of Blaise Zabini echoed annoyingly through the library, at first I thought he was talking to me, but when I turned to ask him to leave me alone I thought who the hell is he talking to? My eyes shifted over to the dark haired player, who now wore a clever smirk on his face. A bit baffled, I quickly turned back around and listened carefully. So much for studying. By the sound of it I sensed that this boyish battle would end badly. I began to get a little nervous by being in the center of it all but I decided not to move, not to flinch, not to breathe. Another round of holding my breath, let's see how long I can hold for this time. Suddenly, a long girlish shriek erupted into the library. Startled out of my wits, I fell out of my chair and quickly swivled around on the floor, I then realized that the cry came from Blaise, not that I blamed him, he had boils covering every inch of his body!

Part II
This seemed to really anger Blaise and he screamed at the dark haired player to get up. Still on the floor I watched the room go cold as the dark haired player rose from his seat, a cocky look on his face and fear in Blaise's. I sat on the floor with my mouth slightly ajar, from the ground he was...extremely tall, but even if i stood up I'm sure that he would still tower over me. Fright took grasp of me, even though he was kinda defending me, and I shrank a little under the table. But I wasn't the only one in the room who was scared, some students sunk in their seats and hid behind their books and some even left. From here the fight progressed into something a little more violent, Blaise, with rage and humiliation burning his ears red, lunged for the dark haired player. I quickly squeezed my eyes shut but heard nothing crash to the ground, when I opened them again Blaise's arms were dangling paralyzed by his sides and he look as frighted as, if not more, everyone else in the library. I was astounded at this, I watched the dark haired player meander cooly over to his victim, there was an air to him that I was beginning to find strangely attractive. The dark haired player leaned into Blaise and whispered threatening words, I grinned evily, knowing that I would never be bothered again until I heard him also whisper that I was going to the ball with him instead. My grin breezed away, I was raged, what made him think that he could be so lucky? After how he humiliated me practically in front of the whole library, well I guess thats what he's good as then, being an insufferable ass.

Part III
I climbed out from under the table and slammed my text books shut, I gathered my notes furiously, I hardly cared to look at him anymore, the attractiveness I found in him earlier vanished, it was now replaced with a picture of him in my head as a crossed out face. As I swiveled around to stomp away, he was right there in front of me, barely six inches away. He seemed shy, how cute, my heart melted. No! He's a jerk! My face hardened again and I glared. "Yeah, well now you're free from him, so you can..." "Go to the ball with you? Sorry, I'm not interested." I said coldly, cutting him off, "Guess you're going to have scrape by some other way because I would never go to the ball with you." With that I brushed past him and left the library. Later on during dinner, I shared my experience to Orla and Mandy who both seemed surprised yet hardly surprised. "That's just like Miles to pull a stunt like that." Sighed Mandy. "Miles? So he has a name." "Yeah, Miles Bletchley, bloody rich bloke but completely egotistical. He think he can have everything. Well I'm sure you showed him." She winked. "Let's hope so." My eyes wandered over to the Slytherin table and I easily found Miles Bletchley, he was watching me, I quickly looked away and began to turn red, but I couldn't tell if it was red from rage or red from finding him looking at me. Either way, I kept my eyes from the Slytherin table from then on.

Part IV
I peered at him from the corner of my eye, giving him an uninterested expression, "Yes, thrilling I must say." "I'm glad to hear of it." Blaise eyed me hungrily before snatching my notes out of my hands, "Charms I see. Definitely one of your many talents I should say. Mind if i quiz you?" "Yes, actually I do-" "You seem to know the subject like a first language, so what's the problem?" "Well I was just-" I tried to make a grab at my notes waving in his hand. "Relax, what are you afraid of? I don't eat homework." Blaise smoothed up closer still. His long arm resting on the back of my chair. "I'm fine!" I spat at him. Finally getting out the words. I snatched back my notes. Blaise held up his hands. "Okay." He chuckled, "Just trying to help. So I admit that I didn't just come in here to quiz you on your homework." I looked up from my notes with a blossoming rage in my eyes and quirked a brow at Blaise. "Well I was wondering..." He continued, "If you wanted to be my date to the Yule Ball?" Blaise gave a sly, foxy smile, "You would be the most beautiful girl there, everyone would wish that they had you for a date instead."  I was unimpressed with his sugar coated statement, it was by far his worst proposal yet, "I regret that I have to say this, Mr. Zabini, but-" "Perfect!" He exclaimed, cutting in on my No, "I'll see you at the ball." He winked at me then slid from the library.

Part III
No, he just didn't look up that's all. What am I worrying my little tail off for? I can't believe this boy is still polluting my mind. I need to think about something else. The Triwizard Tournament. I do hope Fleur has that stupid egg figured out already or else she's going to earn a bad score. If I were Fleur I'd be spending every waking hour trying to solve the mystery of the egg. I would want eternal glory if it were handed to me on a platter. That Cedric looked rather cocky this morning, perhaps he's solved the egg. No, he's much too shallow to have figured it out that soon. Shallow but attractive. Much more attractive than this shaggy boy. Ugh, he's still studying, how righteous of him. At least he's going to get a good score. Makes me wonder how smart Cedric is. It'd require a bit of calculations. If a medium looking boy is average smart than how smart it an attractive boy? I can't belief what I'm thinking. Oh damn! That Yule Ball is coming up quick. I don't have a date. Blast. I can't believe I don't have a date. I always have a date. No worry I'm sure that someone is bound to ask me soon. With that last thought, I smiled happily to myself, my mood was half back already until I caught eyes with the dark haired player then quickly looked away. I turned my face toward the entrance of the Library where, there, walking nimbly toward me was, Blaise Zabini, he has been persuing me since the beginning of the year, asking me out practically every five seconds only to hear me refuse over and over. Oh, how I despised him, I kept my nose in my notes pretending that I hadn't noticed him. He slid into the chair next to me, much closer than I would have preffered, and I scooted away uncomfortably, bumping elbows with the dark haired player. "Good day, Ms. Delacour." Said Blaise with a smirk, "I trust your studies are going...well?"

Part II
Their pasty faces froze up then cowered behind their schoolwork like dogs who had just been scolded. I relished the victory then looked up to find a roomful of eyes staring speechless at my behavior. I returned to the sweet Gabrielle in no time: silvery, liquid like hair, a petite but well sculped figure, and carribean blue eyes with the sun shining out of them. I gave everyone in the room soft eyes and a glowing smile, in return, they all smiled back and continued their doings as if nothing had happened. I wanted to change my seat, away from the dark haired wizard who neglected me so. But that would seem like a sign of defeat and I would never admit to defeat. Instead, I shifted my eyes to his own liquid silver ones, and revealed a glint of hatred to him before returning to my studies. I had twelve parchments of notes in front of me, ready to be studied for Charms class, but I found that I was just skimming note after note, not taking in anything I was reading. My head was swimming in a pool of thoughts. Thoughts and questions such as: perhaps the dark haired boy was just having a bad day. Who were those stupid girls to giggle at me? They did have a right to giggle, I admit. I did look rather stupid. But really it was that boy. If only he had just given an upward glance then perhaps this would all be different. Or maybe he's immune to my Veela charm. But that's just silly....no one is immune to a Veela's charm, or are they?

Part I
The dark haired player seemed relaxed at first, calm and composed into finishing his work, then suddenly, he stood up, much to my alarm, and bellowed out into the noise of the library. I was stunned, my smile towards him was frozen into place and I felt that I may have looked a bit petrified. I turned my nose back to my book, hoping not to disturb him into another outburst, but to my surprise the young man answered my question. Not once did he look up to see who I was, he didn't care to see me or know me. His tone was flat, blunt, and quite straight forward, giving off a secret meaning that he didn't hesitate to speak out loud. He told me to leave him be. The sting of the slap took a little while to sink in but I was blowing smoke from my ears in no time. That bastard. I had never been refused by a man before, never. I could get any man in the world to give his life for me so why was I wasting time on this selfish scoundrel. I turned my face away from him, completely miffed, then I heard stifled giggles coming from the other side of the desk and I looked up to see two 7th year, Slytherin, girls trying desperately to contain their laughter. I'm afraid that at this moment the provoked Veela side of me decided to unveil itself. My face flickered the faint image of a deadly beast as I clentched my fists below the desk, my silvery hair rippled like disturbed water and I gave the two girls a bite of the darker streak in me.

ooc: Hey, I want to try something new for a RP for us. I think it would be interesting to do a RP way back before Miles and Gabrielle met. Triwizard Tournament sort of era. A semi-novella. What say you? Well I'm going to send a starter in case you want to but you don't have to reply if you don't want to. Try to follow this.

Part I.
It was nearing the 2nd Task, students from the schools Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons were becoming anxious to what lies ahead, the Champions began to worry if they were ever going to solve the mystery of the Golden Egg, and the school workloads were only increasing more. It was towards this time of year when the weather began to chill, the guest students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang could no longer stay in their transports and had to move into the castle where they could find warmth. The ladies of Beauxbatons resided, now, in the Ravenclaw quarters, while the boys from Durmstrang stayed in the Slytherin dungeons. It was here, in the Ravenclaw common room, that I became better aquainted with the genius students of the school. I took the experience of the Triwizard Tournament, with open arms, it was, after all, the international magical cooperation that was the main point of the event. Throughout the year, I had become good friends with Orla Quirke and Mandy Brocklehurst both of them were much older than me but still maintained my friendship. I had been pleaded with by Orla to come and enjoy a good Quiddtich match, I accepted the invite only to find that Orla was more interested in the "hot athletes" rather then the match.

Part II.
I rolled my eyes, the mystifying movement caused a nearby Quidditch player to fall of his broomstick, dazzled by my exquisite Veela beauty. I reached back to pull out my ponytail letting my hair fall in softly, licking around my shoulders and down my back like silvery liquid. The wind picked up but it did not dare blow on my beautifully carved features, it instead hovered around me like a glass case as I sat with my pocelin skin rflecting the sun rays. My eyes travled this way and that, surveying each player and their sharp movements. The Quaffle was being tossed faster then the eye could see, Bludgers where rocketing back and forth, and the seeker always came very close to the Snitch, my eyes burned into the seeker each time he reached his hand out to catch the tiny golden ball. The seeker, being the position I always played back at Beauxbatons, was indeed the most exciting and interesting. I did not dare peel my eyes away from the him until WHOOSH! The Quaffle had almost scraped my side, but out of nowhere, a dark haired player zipped in and scooped it up barely a foot from my face then flew away with it, once again blending into the sea of blue and green players. I fell backwards out of my seat, gasping, the accident and not yet sunk in.

Part III.
Scrambling back into my chair, I noticed that I was being stared down by fifty concerned eyes, feeling my cheeks burning, I concentrated on watching the game, looking for the dark haired player. My eyes finally settled upon him, making quick movements for the Quaffle and streaking across the sky. When nighttime came, I could not seem to forget the face of the dark haired player, his furrowed brow as he came to rescue the Quaffle burned in my memory. He wore Quidditch robes of green, Slytherin colors as I learned from a friend earlier in the year. Funny how I'd never seen such a face throughout my time at Hogwarts. However, I rarely noticed the Slytherin table in the Great Hall anyways, so I suppose it's no surprise, but still, his face intrigued me and I was drawn in, like the effects of my Veela charms on others. I continued to reenact the moment over and over in my head until I had drifted of into an dreamless sleep.
* * *
“C’mon, Gabrielle! Leave it till later on. You’ve gotta come see Stephen’s new broom.” Mandy pleaded. I was gathering together my textbooks as Mandy spoke from her four-poster bed.
“I can’t! I need to finish this stupid essay in order to pass Charms. Go on without me.” I mumbled sadly as I dropped my books into a satchel. I threw in a few quills, a bottle of ink, my wand and some parchment. Mandy jumped from her bed and shrugged.
