On a good day I revel in the joyful notion that hydrogen and gravity came together and a short while later begat Dada and bunny slippers and froot loops and James Joyce. On a bad day I feel like a twelve-year-old just inexplicably flung naked from an airplane. It is worth noting that these experiences are essentially the same--it's an oblique glass half-full/half-empty kinda thing. In truth, as life goes on the very notion of a "bad" day seems more and more absurd to me--a notion that only the most unimaginative among us would ever embrace. Unless, of course, one's daily caffeine is witheld by cruel circumstance (shudder).
Who I'd like to meet: Gentle, compassionate people who like stuff. Also a family of capybara's who speak in whispered rhyme. I'd very much like to meet them and play carrom.
I am so excited! I bought myself a present (naturally) and I suspect it would get the Mike stamp o' approval (if you were giving those sorts of things out).
Lookee, lookee...perhaps I could convince you out to try a card?
