About me: This is the end of self promotion. The end of the image factory. This is the end of the yellow brick road...for there is no Oz...only someone behind the curtain who decided it would be fun to pull a few strings.
Within one year I built up what amounted to a huge amount of nothingness...a void where people clamour for friends, image, and it had this thing I call...Lack.
Lack of exchange, perspective, art, verse.......in short this page had become a self-licking ice-cream cone.
Instead of deleting my profile and just walking away, I decided I wanted it to return to the purpose I gave it. Where I wrote daily, created and drew inspiration from.
It was fun, a joy, and I was happy to get feedback from those who were drawn to my page. I had to realize, none of that matters...what matters is the art of creation.
It is time to get back the fun.
I had said to myself...it is time to zero out the account...the numbers don't matter...they were an illusion anyway.
So on this new day of independence I indiscriminantly wiped the slate clean. In short there will be zero myspace friends on this page. As much as I appreciate the requests, I am closing the door. People have gotten away from being real and portray to the world a false image of who they are...much of this type of thinking has bleed out into their real lives...
Forever connected...but failing to connect with real people.
I did accomplish my goals of publishing. However, now my focus has changed. It is time to get back to art. To get back to really creating again.
It isn't about social networking, promotion, and all of that striving to become a brand.
You can keep all of that fake crap.
My goal isn't to be a brand....
I am a writer. I am a poet. I am an author.
I am.
If that sounds arrogant...it isn't. You have to know who you are...what you want to achieve in order for it to happen.
No one can tell you what your purpose in life will be. You declare it. You create it daily.
To live any other way...is foolish indeed.
Who I'd like to meet: The reality is I meet them everyday. Life is an amazing event...what if you just changed your perspective???

As you can see I have totally cleaned house. I realized that my Myspace Page had become, well, unmanageable. I decided it was time to do something about it. So without partiality I wiped the slate clean.
I didn't want to simply rebuild my page. I have decided, to end the SPAM mill and return my page back it's origin, when I originally built my page on Independence Day in 2007...
A return to the writing, collaboration with real people and not brands...not images...and not products.
This is a place of creativity...and it will stay that way.
No ads, No self promotion, in short...I want a restoration of what my page was.
There were over 1800 'friends' that I had on Myspace...and the real ones got lost in the noise.
It is time to get back to the business of creating and forget about the rest of it.
