Ben Harper, DMB, Van Morrison, lot of motown, jazz, and blues influence mashed together with pop and rock, with a tinge of folk/acoustic stuff.
Formed at the end of 2006 (in recent form) and brings together a mixture of influences from rock, reggae, jazz, pop, and soul. Covers range from the 60's to the present and include Marley, Coldplay, Ben Harper, Marvin Gaye, Violent Femmes, Van Morrison, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Costello, maybe even some Bon Jovi, etc. Songwriting style is just a combination of all these influences with a tendency for silly social commentary and serious... well there's nothing really serious. Just a group of fellas who love to play and have a good time.
THE NAME... The name is a reference to a 1961-62 social psychology experiment on obedience by Stanley Milgram. If you are feeling lazy that's all you need to know.... if you wanna look it up, here ya go...... just copy and paste the following link to your browser you nosy little thing....
