One of the most dynamic and energetic bands in Queensland, with a heavy unique punk/rock influenced sound, including slight punches of Pop. MilitiA is fast paced and in your face, with heart winning performances that will NOT leave you unsatisfied. The boys will Bombard you with crazy stage antics that will keep you on your toes, or slipping off your seats.
MilitiA have been kicking it hard on stages for a couple of years now and have recently released their self titled demo album, which has had great feedback!! The demo likes to draw influences from events that have shaped their lives. One song on the CD "Emergency", refers to a memory of Penny being hit by a car. The album Has had small radio play on central Queensland stations and has sold several copies through Queensland.
Being on the road most weekends in different cities has seen MilitiA grow their own faithful "Army of followers". They have toured through most of Queensland; from Brisbane/Gold Coast, all the way up the north coast, recently playing as far south as Sydney. Supporting, along the way, many Australian rock legends including; The Butterfly Effect, The Living End, SpiderBait, The Hot Lies, Something with Numbers, Dukes of Windsor, Dead Letter Circus and several more.
