  • Bio

Early in the morning of August 7, 1974 one man dared the impossible. After years of meticulous scheming young artiste Phillipe Petit set foot on a one - inch wire tied between the Twin Towers 1,368 feet above ground. For the following 45 minutes the unsecured highwire walker enchanted a city that had just awoken into it's everyday routine. „(...) with MILK+ we're doing something similar to that. We're trying to keep the balance. One the one side there's the audience begging for a chorus line to sing along with, on the other side there's MILK+ always looking to open up new horizons in rock music and in between there's music itself – hovering in air and sometimes crashing right into the listener's ears", says MILK+ frontman David Furrer. With their upcoming album „Band On Wire", produced by The Mars Volta's Ikey Owens, once again MILK+ is walking the tightrope tied between art and commercialization. .._......Booking...... monkey music Andreas Weindl hermanngasse 18/3 1070 wien andreas.weindl@monkeymusic.at
