Milkymee
Emilie Hanak is the songwriting thang behind Milkymee, an ever-evolving French musician who found her refuge on a small island off the coast of Sweden. In 2006 Milkymee put out the excellent debut album "Songs for Herr Nicke" (on Tsunami Addiction, japanese license Fiveman Army). The record is charecterised by playfull melodies and arrangements - voluptuous yet ethereal, while her voice combines intimacy with some raw, chalky confidence.

Milkymee has written the sountrack of a long feature-film, "Domaine" by Patric Chiha, starring Béatrice Dalle as the main character. Her second opus , "To all the Ladies in the Place, With Style and Grace" named after the Notorious B.I.G track, is an EP dedicated to :

Hello Emi, merci également pour le compliment. Content que tu aies aimé mon univers. Je pense que l'on se croisera très vite sur la scène parisienne... aujourd'hui il existe de moins en moins de salle malheureusement... J'ai vu que tu donnais un concert sur Lille fin de semaine, j'aurais bien aimé venir te voir au drugstore (étant originaire du Nord... :-)). J'essaierai de passer à l'un de tes concerts sur Paris.
Quelques news de deja vu: notre album "Roulette Russe" sort (enfin!!) officiellement le 09 novembre prochain (mvs records/anticraft)! Il sera dispo dans tous les bacs hexagonaux, sortie numérique etc...
Quelques concerts en novembre pour fêter tout ça: le 17 novembre au Batofar à Paris, le 18 à Lille et le 27 novembre à la Marquise à Lyon (gratuit!!). Tu seras là?

rappel du concept : pour ces rendez-vous trimestriels, Pollyanna et
Reza ouvrent la soirée en acoustique avec 3 morceaux chacun, avant le
laisser la place à un invité venu d'ailleurs pour un full-show unique.
Pour
cette 5e édition, nous avons la joie d'accueillir V.O. , projet de
Boris Gromberger, guitariste de Françoiz Breut, batteur de Soy un
Caballo et fer de lance de l'excellent label belge Matamore.
Le
Vieux Léon, c'est sympa, bien situé (métro Etienne Marcel, rue de la
Grande Truanderie), l'entrée est gratuite et c'est toujours entre 20h30
et 22h00.
