I'm from Slovakia. BTW, it's not a scary country as u can see in the movies. My hometown (www.staralubovna.sk) ... nice place to live. U know, hills, history, peace, small and magic :o)
Ok, the important thing about me is music. I attended flute and clarinet in my school days. On high school I started to play a guitar and made a band with classmate Marek Tokarcik. The band called SuperLights. We made some demos and did few concerts. It was cool time... U know, grunge, blues, rock, folk and psychedelic :o)
In a band I was playing bassguitar, but I wanted to try some musical experiments. So I've made accustic demos (accue, accue devotion), electronic demo (millas groove) and finaly in project LTt some u know, techno, chill out, trance and experimental music :o)
After that I've moved to capital city Bratislava. I worked there in a biggest music shop in the country so I started to meet good musicians, and play with them. And what I've found? Yes, I'm not a jazz player, or even best singer in the world, but... I just have great songs.
After leaving "big city" there's a 3 years long complicated story why I stayed at home, and how I met musicians for my album. Very important person in the game of life was Peter Cardarreli from Boston (www.petercardarelli.com). He introduced me to well known slovakian jazz keybordist Peter Preloznik (www.jazzmusic.sk). In his studio we made a record (Dancing With The Sun In My Eyes).
In past years I played on one stage with slovak well known groups Vetroplach, Lavagance, Longital, ... Now it's look like the new album is on the way :o)
Millas Groove zacinal s hudbou uz davno. Hoc lajdacky to ziak na dychove nastroje, v neskorej puberte zlakala ho gitara. Prvu kapelu SuperLights zalozil v roku 1997 so spoluziakom Marekom Tokarcikom, kde fungoval ako basgitarista. Syndrom nevsimavosti kompetentnych ju vsak poslal do dejin a tak sa Millas vydal cestou vlastnou a za pomoci priatelov muzikantov nahral solove cede "Dancing With The Sun In My Eyes".
