   Mill Ave Inc's Blurbs
About me:
I'm the little movie that could. I started in Nico's camera circa 1997 while shooting local AZ bands and the venues they played. They were soon gone, and something in Nico's head said that the stuff we captured would mean a lot to a lot of people some day. And that day has come. Thanks to perseverance, and a LOT of help from friends.
Who I'd like to meet:
More CEO's. Or rather, they need to meet me.

Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday!

Sure, we all go to local shows, but this one actually does something extra for the community. Don't you want the dough you fork over to do something productive? Well, this time IT WILL.

In other words, give a care! And see some great bands while you're at it! Plus, your wristband will get you discounts at Carly's Bistro and Lost Leaf. And let's face it, you can't pass up a discount in this day and age.

Hope to see you there. Thanks!

P.S. Plus, I'm playing at this one.

I dunno if you heard, but Tuesday is the new coolest day of the week! (It's not Wednesday anymore.
)

Sure, we all go to shows, but this one actually does something extra for the community. Have part of the dough you fork over do something productive.

In other words, give a care! And see some great bands while you're at it! Plus, your wristband will get you discounts at Carly's Bistro and Lost Leaf. And let's face it, you can't pass up a discount in this day and age.

May 25 2008 5:24 AM

I remember the old Mill Ave scene, The coffeehouse with the ping-pong table, the park in front of the movie theater, and all the clubs my band Kill Taboo used to frequent. Those were good times... there really was a sense of community. I believe the end began with Super Bowl XXX... Tempe government saw dollar signs.
