I do know that I've liked cars, robots, and women (what straight male doesn't like them?) throughout the years. I do like table-top RPGs as well, because they allow you to create and interact with wonderful stories limited only by your imagination. I'm currently going through photography phase, which has earned me a little bit of money.
Music
There's good music from all genres, but my favorites are light-rock/pop, and 1980s power ballads.
Movies
Ah My Goddess, Glory. Matthew Broderick, Clive Owen, and Scarlett Johansson are my favorite actors.
Television
Ah! My Goddess, Burn Notice, Chuck, The Colbert Report, CSI: NY, The Daily Show, Deadwood, Fringe, Full Metal Panic, Kings, Legend of the Seeker, Lie to Me, Life, Merlin, Numbers, Royal Pains, Scrubs, and Warehouse 13.
Books
I Am America (And So Can You!). I don't really have the attention span for novels, but I'm not stupid. I read a lot of informational magazines and articles as well as textbooks (when I have to). The last novel I read was one of those cheesy/steamy romance novels like 7 years ago, and before that a "Goosebumps" book I read through while in a waiting room.
Heroes
Of course, Jesus, but other than him, my dad is my biggest hero. He's everything I wish I could be. Strong, smart, handsome, generous, caring, and a real ladies man. He brought up a whole family, and takes care of his children above all else.
About me: I'm a slightly strange (other people's words, not mine) Asian male. I'm cursed with a positive-reactive personality. It's where I generally don't feel or do anything for (good or bad) towards a person, until I know how they feel towards or do anything for me. I then react the same way, but also feel/do a little more. In a way, it makes a lot of people think I'm cold, which I guess is true since when you have no feelings toward someone... it's cold. I also have a bad habit of being brutally honest, which I've been working on... so sometimes I have quiet spells.
Things that I do hate are overly expensive luxury brands. I understand the difference in quality items, instead of cheap crap. But overly expensive brands where you don't get much more quaility compared to how much you spend, and you're just paying for a name, make me sick. I'm not a materialistic person, and people who are materialistic disgust me. It's the one exception to my positive-reactive personality where I do feel something towards a person before I know how they feel about me.
I am a "Romantic-Giver" according to the Enneagram test. Many times it's led to me being taken advantage of and used, and I hope to someday find a partner who is willing to give me as much love and care as I'm willing to give her.
You wanna help me out with something? I'm trying to get into a relationship with this girl who goes to my church. She's 30, SO WHAT!?!? If you got any tips that could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
