.............. METAL ARMY .. When it all just comes back.... .. One of the classic bands at the age of 22 and counting, Millennium is a hard rock outfit formed in Bangalore back in 1985. They have been on a hiatus for the last 7 years but now are back! The band has a huge fan base spread out all over the country having played in every conceivable corner from Shilong to Shimoga. Their live concerts have regularly attracted audiences of over 25,000. Although the lineup of musicians has changed, founder members Roberto and Vehrnon are still at the core of the band. .. Currently the lineup is on the way to writing the next Millennium album tentatively called METAL ARMY. Recording is planned for the middle of the year with a planned promotional tour in the offing. Fans can expect the band to return to their roots with a much heavier album than the last one. As is usual for an Indian Hard Rock band and Millennium… “rely on the Metal Army”… .. Millennium has released three albums: .. 1 BORN TO REIGN EP - 1989 .. 2 MILLENNIUM - 1994 .. 3 ONE CONCEPT TO LIVE - 1997 .. There are six videos made by the band in support of the recordings. Their first video "Piece Just In Heaven" received Best Video of The Week Award on MTV’s show Head Bangers Ball. .. ....Milllennium regathered on Feb 01 2008 at M.O.S, New Delhi for a re-union!!! Grabbed it by the neck...choked it & killed it ! .. March 14 - 2008 - Millennium opened for Machinehead & Megadeth @ ROCK IN INDIA - Bangalore and has previously opened for No Doubt as well !
