So this is basically Lauren from The Moaning Myrtles and one of her friends excessive fangirling over Alex!!! I love it! Mainly cause I am a Alex Carpetner fangirl myself, but not the type that they're poking fun at!
Yeah so basically I love Wizard Rock (Especially The Remus Lupins, The Moaning Myrtles, and every one else that is in my top friends that is a wrock band), The Dresden Dolls, Van Morrison, Robert Pattinson, Linkin Park (not there new album though), The Ben Taylor Band, rock in general (mainly metal and 60s/70s psych rock), showtunes (Company [2006 Revival Cast], [title of show], Tick, Tick...Boom!, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Spamalot, Rent, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, etc.), handful of indie/folksy music, and there is a lot more stuff in enjoy just can't remember any of the other stuff.
About me: I know for a fact that I am one of the most bizzare people in my circle of friends. Just to let you get in my head a little, if you are willing to understand it, my heroes are the absurd journalist Hunter S. Thompson, the gorgeous Johnny Depp, the magnificent Edward D. Wood; Jr., of couse my mother, all the psych/acid rockers of the late 60s/early 70s (and at the same time I can blast either a showtune or frank sinatra song out of my lungs); my passion is live theatre though my mother is against my acting my other love next to the theatre is history; I love English rockers, mainly Coldplay, Muse, and The Beatles; I think if I go on you may either think I am mad or one of the most interesting person you know.
I have to add that my only loves in this world, besides my current boyfriend, are Anime/Manga and the Movies. It is definately these and the books I read that make up me. I owe my life to the authors and the artists that make me feel whole. It is truely without them I would be nothing.
Who I'd like to meet: My mind doesn’t work quite the same as yours. I can think of many more things at one time. Of course, that means that I’m always able to think of you, always able to wonder if that’s where her mind is, when she’s quiet and thoughtful.
Edward Cullen, Eclipse
Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars—points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.
