Yes. Seriously, yes. My musical preferences are really quite eclectic. I primarily enjoy rock, but that's mostly because it makes good background music. I listen to--and enjoy--just about everything that's got intelligible lyrics, and even some that doesn't.

Christian. Not that that necessarily tells you anything about me, because if you're not Christian, you've probably got a very distorted view of what a Christian really is, and if you purport to be Christian, you've probably got an even more distorted view of what a Christian really is.
Remember, "Hate the sin, Love the sinner." Just because someone is a pornographer, or a homosexual, or eats babies, doesn't mean God loves them any less than He loves you. Remember as well that all sin is equal in the eyes of the Lord, for whosoever has broken one part of the Law has broken all of the Law, so you're just as shitty a person as that slut, that fag, or that cannibal.
You can't just look at whatever happened yesterday when taking stock of someone's life, when trying to understand them. You have to look at everything; what happened yesterday, and yesteryear, and everything else. You can't truly understand who a person is, and why, unless you know how they got there. But don't discount what happened yesterday. Sometimes one good day is all it takes to save a man.

American. Again, doesn't necessarily tell you anything about me, though in some ways I'm quite typical. I'm a product of the car culture, of bigger being better, but at least I recognize these things. Most of the time. What "American" really means to me is the idea of it all, the concept that I have in my head of the American Way. And ideas have always been hard for me to explain.
Driver. I learned to drive when I was nine in a '71 Cuda on a racetrack in San Diego. A CHP taught me, and handed me the wheel at 45; so I went 90 before I ever went 30. Ever since, it's been one of the few ways I can really center myself, can just let everything go and be.
Gamer. Not that I really need to explain this one, what with my profile's theme . . . but I've been a gamer ever since my late grandfather bought me a Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1990. Primarily interested in RPG's, because I like stories, and the dichotomy of good and evil; all that led into discovering tabletop gaming such as D&D in high school.

There is always a reason to keep fighting, so long as it is a worthwhile fight. Maybe you just need to meditate on whether you fight the good fight or not.
Sorry, just getting around to all of this. Hope your Holidays were tip top, I'd slap you with a stick, but I wouldn't want all of that gooey goodness all over my sneakers. So how are you and everyone WoW-side?
