The MMC - What is it? - Its an online fitness challenge! Log your walking,
running or biking miles, and you are part of the MMC! Watch your rankings against others in your state, your city, or your
company or school. Start challenges and set goals. Have fun, you'll find that tracking your miles can do a lot for your
fitness goals!
The North American Running Challenge & Myspace Impact Award - The MMC is
going for the new Myspace Impact Award in the "Community Building" category. This running challenge in May - 2008 will give
you the opportunity to find others from your state or province to help log the most running miles. Should we win half the
money will benefit Samaritans Purse which helps the most needy communities in the world. The rest of the money will go to our
champions who help their communities by encouraging them to get active and log some miles! Please nominate us today by going
to Myspace Impact Awards
Why here at Myspace? - Where else can you find hundreds of millions of
folks to compete and network with? Just imagine the power of a little freindly competition when you are connected with
millions of folks with the same goal as you, to encourage each other to get in some exercise!
Why walking, running and biking? - For starters, walking provides more
exercise for the world than all other forms of exercise combined. These are three of the most popular forms of exercise and
they are easy to make a part of your normal routine. With time we will add new events.
Challenge at Myspace - In April 2008 we'll start our first Challenge at
Myspace, which state or province can log the most miles in each of the 3 venues. Join (or champion) one of our virtual clubs
right here at Myspace. Just identify your favorite venue (you can do all three) and then find your state or province. For
example, you might be on the Virtual Walking Club of Texas. Every time you log your miles they will go into the states total,
and then you'll watch your state compete against the rest! We're starting with the U.S. and Canada, and then in the coming
months will campaign for a world-wide competition (its already built into fitnessrace.com). To find your myspace page just
click on "Find your local champion".
180 Volunteers Needed - To get started we need 180 volunteers. Become a
fitness champion in your state or province and we'll get you set up with your own MMC page here at Myspace. Contact us before
you initiate a setup, we have specific instructions for you to follow, just send an email to dean@fitnessrace.com. Its free
and there's even built in ways for you to make some money from it! Wait until you see what we have planned next, get on board
while its new.
Great for Myspace Groups, Events, Clubs, More! - By becoming an MMC
Champion at Myspace you'll give your group, event or club great exposure by providing a resource for your target audience.
You can link to your site, and offer some great resources to your virtual club members.
Sign Up - If you are not interested in becoming a champion but just want
to log your miles on a team, just find your myspace page by clicking on the "Find your local champion" button, its free and
takes just a few minutes.

Hi Amy, sorry about that. I didn't know the more info link wasn't there, I will fix that. As far as Wisconsin goes it means no one has volunteered to be the "champion" for Wisconsin yet, so if you want to be that let me know. You can register at fitnessrace.com in the mean time, thanks!
Yes i ran a 4:10 mile in college for WVU..that was the best time i achieved. It really don't matter how fast we all run, it's the spirit of effort and everyone has their own individuals goals and purposes...keep up the great work my friend!....
Stopping by to show my support for your great page and cause....have a blessed week ahead my friend.
Roger Bannister on breaking the 4-minute mile : "No longer conscious of my movement, I discovered a new unity with nature. I had found a new source of power and beauty, a source I never dreamt existed."
