Mill Valley Sheepskin and Leather Company was founded (and still to this day operates by the same family) in the foothills of Mt. Tamipias in Marin County, CA in the late 70's and thrived making shearling and sheepskin coats and related products. With the talents of Mill Valley's craftsmen and the skills of master craftspeople and artisans, we grew to 5 store locations in the Northern California area, our workshop also manufactured shearling and sheepskin products for many national brand name catalog companies and finer retailers in North America. In 1992 the founding family made a bold move and divested itself from the coastal mountain ranges and relocated the Mill Valley Sheepskin and Leather Company headquarters to the top of the Rocky Mountains in a then little known western town of Jackson Hole, nestled in the Tetons, in the greatest of all states, Wyoming. Our company's Factory Direct Store, corporate offices and shipping distribution center all operate in the shadows of the Grand Teton Mountain range and a hop, skip and jump from the wondrous natural treasures of Yellowstone National Park.
