In my artworks I want to describe the time we’re living in as a runaway and perishable world where nothing can be taken for granted. A world which slowly is breaking up and falling apart, confused and diluted. But hope is still there.
- I create what I see and a great inspiration for me are the traces of people in urban environments. The colours and patterns from hundreds torn down posters, tags on an old door or graffiti in the streets. Things that other people may not notice at all is great art to me.
These works are a combination of big digital prints and acrylic paint. The mix of digital collages and analog technique is a way to create contrasts and to confuse. There is a fine line where the photo ends and the painting begins. What is what?

While pausing Cirkus Transmopol this fall we're focusing on a different project. We'll be on tour in Germany January/Febuary 2010 together with singer songwriter Florian Ostertag.
The tour is called EVERYDAY LIFE TOUR 2010 - it's a humble attempt to give some space for global social justice issues in the European indie music scene.
