The Local Event of the Year - Covenigma - Sat June 16
If you were planning on attending just one event this year - you don't want to miss Patrick Nettesheim's brainchild, Covenigma.
Pat is a talented musician, a member of the band Square Wave, and a musical film composer. He has put together a 10 year celebration of Chris Smith's "American Movie" and Mark Borchardt's "Coven".
I can't even list everything going on that day, but here is a sample:
*Musical performances by Scott E. Berendt & the US Project
*A showing of American Movie / Q&A with Mark Borchardt, Mike Shank, Kenny Keen, & Sir Robert Richard Jorge
*Dancers, Firespinners, a musical performance by Square Wave with a Laser Bob Light Show
*Great eatin's from BBQ master Chris Borchardt
Too much more to mention! This will be a bash. It all takes place between 4pm - midnight on Saturday June 16th at Times Cinema, 5906 W. Vliet Street

April 1st from noon-4pm there will be a Fundraiser Party for "It's My House". Everyone is welcome to attend. It will be at Landmark 1850 by the Airport, 5905 S. Howell.
Please bring a $10 donation (or more if you can - or less if you can't) and meet the narrators, artists, musicians, homeowners, etc.
The music from the film will be playing, the artists artwork will be on display, and it is a casual mingling event for everyone.
