Thank you for visiting my place in this space, I hope you feel at home!
I am Maria, a singer-songwriter from Bulgaria who has been living in Vienna for a long, pleasant time.
To me, music is like telling every-day-life-fairytales. I see miracles, beauty, charm, enthusiasm, radience, love, fear, sadness, expectation, joy everywhere I go. Sometimes happy endings, other times not so happy endings that lead us to a different path - this is what I like to share with all of you in the shape of honest, heart-to-heart songs. As a fairyteller - a term I invented - you can do anything you want musically, lyrically to reach the hearts of others.
In my life as a musician I participated in different projects so far, stretching myself to the areas of pop, soul, songs for children and Latin jazz. I had a single record out, was on TV and found out that I needed to learn much, much more if I am to make my dream happen.
Right now I am living that dream: Fairytellers. In my new band I found the support of musicians who also enjoy fairytelling. Together, we are working on our first album "Balkan Bread" - I can't wait for you to hear it! At More Music Studios in Vienna we are having a great time recording the songs, I am sure you will hear all the fun we had while making this record very soon.
Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more about Fairytellers, this is what this space is for.

Soulfishing - the single in 2 versions, one with wonderful Hubert Tubbs and Aladin Sani, as well as the extra track "Have a good time" with the band 5 in Love - the soulful, sensual project:

Parampampin - the Caribbean and German childrens' songs project: lovely music which makes kids and adults sing, dance and learn Spanish at the same time:
"Trotando" von Eldis La Rosa Group is a hot Cuban project, which gives Latin Jazz a new definition
Thank you for passing by! I am very excited to be sharing our new Fairytellers album with you soon!
Sincerely yours,
Maria
