| General | drinking so much coffee it hurts my belly ( then moving on to red wine, vodka gimlets, or bud-yes, I said bud, I do drink "good" beer sometimes, but nothings better than a cold bud on a smoky hot Chicago night)music....music....music, books, too- read so much I don't remember what I read the next day. I spent copious amounts of time chatting up my friends-see, they're all so far flung. Hurts my heart, it does. I've begun getting more social here in Seattleland- that's been very interesting. Try to be an artistic type, make jewels, knit, various strange home improvement projects, although improving them for me does not generally indicate good resale value.
| | Music | Oh....I suppose it all began with Depeche Mode's PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE, purchased by my sister's best friend for my 10th birthday. Good foundation in all things punk rock and new wave; now it seems to be all about singer/song writers. I suppose I'm getting morose in my old age. Sondre Lerche, Ed Harcourt, Iron & Wine (not so sure about him yet, though). Other interests include Notweist, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, New Pornographers, Shins, Frausdots, Magnetic Fields, etc. Still love the standards-Cure, Depeche Mode, Smiths, Mr. Cash, etc. Also, love to see live shows. | | Movies | Of all time?
