One Punk Band I really like is is Cosmic Psychos (I made a myspace group for them the link to join the group is in my interests section) anyways Cosmic Psychos are an Australian Yob Rock but most commonly called Grunge/Punk band that has been around since 1982 they recorded their first album in a barn! haha, they released many albums after that, Including Self Totalled, Go The Hack, Oh What A Lovely Pie, and Blokes You Can Trust they were usually found playing pubs and playing for booze, though they did tour with Mudhoney and Pearl Jam who they greatly influenced with their brand of balls to the wall brand of sludgey punk rock the Cosmic Psychos sound would best be described as Grunge I suppose their lyrics can be vulgar at times nothing too disturbing and usually done with a sense of humor, alot of their music is about drinking and just having a good time their music is great drinking party music, this year to my suprise after a 9 year hiatis they just released a new kick ass album called Off Ya Cruet! which is not as rough as their earlier cd's but still a powerhouse that proves they can still dish it out but unfortanatly that pleasent news was overshadowed by a very dark cloud when I found out that while they were on tour after a gig on July 1 2006 in Bendigo their guitarist Robbie "Rocket" Watts was found dead in his friends kitchen floor....he was 47 years old, he had been their guitarist since 1990 first appearing on Blokes You Can Trust, he will be missed by me and all of his fans and family, he was a Bloke You Could Trust... Rest In Peace Mate....
