mindmasher (born John Klappstein on October 5th, 1980 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) is a Canadian electronic music artist. His music covers a variety of genres, mostly consisting of hard and experimental techno, and the occasional foray into Drum and Bass and ambient music.
He credits the influences of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Boards of Canada, and other notable Electronic artists of the information age as his primary inspiration for electronic music production. He similarly has influences from other genres which includes Heavy Metal, Rap, and Classical.
