Colorfully exposing cultural quirks,,,,,,Developing shows and shadowjamming
around ideas that represent human's
interconnectedness with what is natural, what is artificial, and where everything blurs in between.
Chloé Ziner and Jessica Gabriel have been collaborating under the name “Mind of a Snail” for the past six years.
Their performances combine originally crafted puppets, original music, masked characters, recycled waste, and eclectic experimentations in lighting and timing.
Based out of the Sunshine Coast of B.C. and currently "living the puppeteer's dream" full time in Vancouver.
As shadow-casters, Chloé and Jessica have been developing a multi-layered style of visual storytelling using an overhead projector (OHP) as their main light source.
