To cut a long story short MindsAlike have decided to split...
It's always a hard decision, and has taken a lot of nights staring at the ceiling until 3:00 am to get to this keyboard.
Basically due to personal reasons we have decided on some time out, which was sparked by our guitarist Timmsy leaving to pursue other areas in music.
There are no hard feelings between us and no regrets at all. We are grateful to have shared such a rad experience together. The five of us including our ex bass player Ryan Kemp have all learnt an amazing amount of lessons and skills along the way!
We would like to thank anyone and every one who has rocked out, helped and played with MindsAlike in the last year and a half!!!
All the bands we’ve played with have been great and we wish you all the best!
We’ve had some great help along the way – you know who you are – thank you!
Most importantly our fans, the ones who came, screamed, sweated and had a damn good time with us! Thank you so much!!!
This in no way, shape or form is the end of each of us in the world of music, if anything it’s made us hungrier…

Boys, tell u wat...that is crappy news. most kickarse memories playin with u dudes, not only cos i loved ya fuckin tunes...but cos we're good mates.. your all so fuckin talented, so ya wont have any trouble finding inspirado. n on a personal note, sean, i know wat the band meant to you, n u know how much everyone loved yas....but u did heaps for other bands like us man, we appreciate that more than u know. dude, ive seen wat u can do with that geetar and that voice of yours....on stage and in our living rooms haha so i personally cannot wait to see what u produce over the next few years, cannot wait brother. Sorry to hear about the decision to call it a day. Even though we only played a couple of gigs with ya's, we always thought you guys were one of the most rockin bands we'd played with. And to be honest, we were lookin forward to doin some more shows with ya's.
Really wanted to hear the new EP you were going to record too, cause the new tunes were damn good, I mean DAMN good!
Best of luck in the future to all of you and no doubt we'll see ya around in some form or another in the not to distant future rockin as hard as you always did!

New years eve up in Redcliffe with Marc was the first night we werent itchy as all fuck.. haha..
