Mind Trips is a Bulgarian chill-out band formed in 2001. The band was initially put together by Alexander (guitars), Bourian (bass) and Iasmin (keyboards). They started working in the fields of house music, drum and bass. In 2005 Mind Trips came across Rosena and after recording one song with her decided to make more, until the first album of the band was completed. The album was entitled Sin and included 8 songs with Rosena's vocals, as well as 2 instrumentals. The overall style of the album was chill-out mixed with house, drum and bass, trip hop and a pinch of jazz. Sin is a combination of electronic music styles with a lot of live played guitars, basses, keyboards and vocals. Additional color to the recorded songs was added by Vlado and his live trumpet playing. He joined the project for the first track recorded with Rosena and stayed on until the very end. This album features 2 violin players as well: Veneta and Radi from Strrings. In 2006 Mind Trips came up with a remake of Desy’s song, Give You, for the compilation for Denyl, called Revolution. In the beginning of 2007 two new members joined the project: Pancho (percussionist) and Stefan on the drums. Mind Trips started to play in some of the most famous house clubs in Bulgaria – Yalta Club, Black Label, Alcohol Beach etc. In 2007 the band recorded also a new song called Trippin’. The song won quickly two awards from the most prestigious Bulgarian National Radio competition – “Golden Spring 2007”. In 2008 Mind Trips won First Award at the "Golden Spring" Awards with the song "I". Mind Trips released at May/29-th 2008 a new album under the name of "Vanity". The Album included 10 tracks and a remix of the song "Tempo" by Mind Trips made by Pop Corn. "Vanity" also included the tracks "Trippin'" and "I". Mind Trips 2008 album again comes up with a lot of musicians and some songs feature some of Mind Trips friends, like Desy (Phuture Shok), Zafayah, Tsetso (Transformation), Veneta, Radi and Nora (Strrings) etc. At 2008 Mind Trips played for the first time at one of the bigest international jazz festivals at Bulgaria - Bansko Jazz Festival.
