One cool March night, three uniquely talented musicians sat together in a cafe, eating nachos and sipping milkshakes. As the hours wore on, the three had a revelation - their respective instruments sounded sweet separately, but if they combined forces, the sweetness would be magnified! By a thousand, at least!
Initially they intended to perform under the name "Ming and the Canker Sores," but their manager, Eric Anderson, suggested a more marketable name, and Ming and the Ming Ming Mings were born.
Ming Cai (aka Minge) plays the guitar and is lead vocalist. She is widely respected for her massive clothing collection and her ability to hold her liquor.
Eliza Hecht plays banjo and vocals. She is an accomplished writer/model and holds a profound love for salty snacks and floral prints.
Alex Weintraub plays alternative percussion and vocals. He has a B.A. in Giggling and an affection for iron-rich foods.
