Mingå is like the racing horse you´d never place a bet on, like the unexpected murder in the horror movie, like the vomit that saves the night which the next moment turns in to the best night ever, like the river that turns your three of a kind into a four of a kind, thanks to Mingå being five of a kind. Mingå exists to entertain in every way, especially for everybody around, but for own entertainment as well, and likes to do it in public, in front of an audience.
Mingå exists thanks to a great number of devoted people, a bunch of loyal and reliable friends, and the total amount of positive energy and developement.
No, you can't put Mingå in a genre, at least not among the existing ones.
So, if you had to explain Mingå with 2-3 typical genres, you would probably be more lucky trying to beat Alexander Julian in a game of pool, and that rarely happens, but why bother? It's very easy, Erik Sebastian tries to explain; when music is good it's good, no matter what kind of music you usually listen to; rock, pop, reggae, synth or whatever.
Mingå makes a little bit of this go together with another bit of that, Niklas Rimshot explains. The influences are numerous and various, but Mario Arne is still collecting more, on behalf of the band and the sound.
