Hakkımızda Mingus Awareness Project

The purposes of the Mingus Awareness Project are: to celebrate the life and music of Charles Mingus, to raise awareness about ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), and to raise money for ALS research and other support for people who have ALS.

The Mingus Awareness Project happens in Chicago and Richmond. MAP3 happened on May 7 at The Hideout in Chicago, during ALS Awareness Month. MAP 2 Richmond happened on October 19, 2008. Info about more upcoming dates & shows will be posted here soon!

MAP Chicago's partner is the Les Turner ALS Foundation. You can make a donation by going to http://www.lesturnerals.org/communityevents.htm.
