The recorded output of Miniature Submarines is somewhat of an exercise in ego for me, Mark Nelson. It's a chance for me to attempt solo recordings, or as close as I can get to doing it by myself. So far my better half Monika Fikerle has been good enough to nail the hell out of the drum parts for the first two songs I've recorded, coming out soon as a 7" on Sydney label Rice Is Nice.
We've attempted this thing live a few times now with me and my good friends Chris, Alex and Duncan.
