We're playing the last ever solid air at Le Bateau in Parkstone this evening (Sunday 29th); If you've ever been then you'll know it's an ideal place to listen to some chilled out tunes with a crisp beer on a warm spring evening.
Following a selection of the area's finest acoustic artists including: Elliott Paterson, Sonnet (unplugged), Matt Cameron and Pierre Le Blag (Perico/Pee Pee) Burning Sheppard (The Clams' Olly Hopper & Andy Stock), Mali Madden, Tim Berry and The Sarah Griffen Band; we'll be mixing it up with some new songs and some new toys. Acoustic guitars, upright bass, brushed drums and percussion define the vibe.
First act should start around 8:00, and the music will go till midnight; entrance is free.
Whether or not you make it down tonight, you can catch Romin and Jean-Paul playing some tracks and shooting the breeze with Tony Warren on Forest FM radio (92.3 FM) based in Verwood at 8:00PM tomorrow (Monday 30th), if you're too far away then you can listen live online here.
In Darklight would like to invite you to come support us at Unit 22 in Southampton.
We will be playing on a 'New Bands Night' with three other bands on Wednesday 2nd May.
The tickets for the show cost £4 and the doors open at 8.00pm! We would love to have your support...if you would like to buy a ticket, please visit our MySpace page for more info!
We're playing an acoustic show at Southampton's Platform Tavern this Tuesday.
This will be just Tim on tabla and jazzy brushed kit and Romin on guitar/samples and dumbeck.
We're playing a 40 minute set from around 9ish. It'll be different from the usual TTN stuff but the same at the same time, you know? Entrance is free and it should be pretty sweet. Be good to see you there if you can make it...

ed mate, one of the bands who are in your online vote are actually playing a gig on the 5th may in luton, they have quite a number of votes too. Ill give you a clue, the name begins with P... x x
The voting system went live yesterday and we had a great response, unfortunately we discovered a couple of individuals making multiple votes by getting round the system.
The votes for 16th March have been discarded and we are now able to ban people from voting and have their vote cancelled if they attempt to vote more than once. We will impose this!
Having said that, the voting system is now back up and running and you can register your vote now for the first time or vote again if you'd voted yesterday.
Thanks for your patience and understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience,
Yours, The Minifest Team
