About me:
Minimal Nation now on hold!
Minimal Nation is a cycle of parties hosted by Essence in Sfinks Club in Sopot, Poland.
July 2004 - hosting first party @ Mandragora (Gdynia) with Ginger (CZ). Later that year co-organising parties in GGOG in Gdansk, which included guest djs from all over Poland.
July 2005 - First party in Sfinks, featuring British techno legend, Steve Bicknell.
From the 5th party on (July, 2006) regular name Minimal Nation is given.
Despite the name, parties are not minimal techno focused only. All kinds of good music are welcome: from classic U.S. electro, via dubby techno and deep house to electronica/IDM. For those who find main floor's sounds too harsh, the club's second floor ("Fountain", as it's usually called) usually has something lighter to offer: minimal house, progressive, disco...
