I was born and raised in Berkeley, California. My formal musical training began in the fourth grade playing flute under the care and direction of Mr. Phil Hardyman. I had been playing about two years when one day he asked me to match a piano note with my voice. That was the beginning of my singing career.
I began concentrating on my singing taking voice lessons and performing with artists such as Herbert Mims, Bill Summers, musical prodigy Rodney Franklin, Sheila E, Wes Anderson, Lloyd Gregory, Tamabra, Jeannie Tracy, Troy Lampkin, Billy 'shoes' Johnson and Jeff Chin, to name a few.
I am currently living and loving performing in Southeast Asia. I return occasionally to the States to perform and visit family and friends.
I am in the process of completing my first CD performing with some of the aforementioned musicians. In the meantime please take a moment and listen to some of the songs on my forthcoming release. Enjoy and thanks for visiting me.
