Minipli have been formed in winter 2006 when three friends discovered their shared affectation for minimalistic music. The experimental and uncommitted first period culminated in the release of the debut “love is for the fishis” in september 2007, containing ten dadaistic, lo-fi, but yet catchy no wave songs.
The following year the band shared the stage with artists like The Do (F), Felix Kubin (G), Vivian Girls (USA) or Brockdorff Klang Labor (G) and played concerts not only in their home country Luxembourg but as well in Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.
Minipli have been working on new songs for the last couple of months. By inserting more electronics and guitars into their initial sound they thus added an excentric electronic pop dimension to their dada carnival.
Recently Minipli have been selected "Découverte du Printemps de Bourges" and have released the Promo EP “I Go Boom!”
