Hey whats up everyone!!! I hope you enjoy my music. I won the Los Angeles Music Awarad's Pop- Hip Hop Artist of the Year in 2007. I have written over 30 songs now and have had 18 of those songs professionally produced. I have also co-produced several of the songs I have written as well. I am currently working on getting prepared to go on the Hip Hop Culture Tour in Asia this Fall with Usher, Ethan Edwards and Little Bow Wow.
I was born on 08-08-88. In Chinese the number 8 is the symbol of Luck which is the result of good fortune and properity. The number 8 sounds like the Chinese character for Rich.
I have been told my whole life by many people that I am a child of fortune. I was born the YEAR OF THE DRAGON with the FOUR SYMBOLS OF PROSPERITY.....08-08-88, which I believe has given me much talent and many gifts that I am very grateful for.
The song featured on my page is entitled, "One World, One Dream", and was written in honor of the 2008 Olympics, which was held on my Birthday last year. This song has really been an inspiration to me because it represents everyone who feels like they have been knocked down, and beat up by the world trying to accomplish something great. Someone who inspite of the challenges and difficulties they face, continues to follow their Dreams with persistance and determination, until they are finally realized. At the end of this song you will hear a young girl singing in Chinese. She is singing, "I feel Lucky, Do you feel Lucky? I hope this song gives others that same hope and inspiration it has given me.
"One World, One Dream", was produced by the very talented, Lenny Greene, who was with Motown for several years working directly under the very famous Barry Gordy. I have also been fortunate to work with many other very talented producers, such as Michael Monarch of Stepenwolf, and Roman Empire Beats of New York.
I also auditioned for Janet Jackson's show on MTV about finding Janet's next protege and was chosen to be one of the 60 semi-finalist out of 12,000 artist that auditioned all over the country.
I love to sing, dance, write songs and act. In my spare time I like to write movies and television shows with my very cool little sister, Millie. We wrote a show together called, "Minna and Millie MisUnderstood". We have written two songs for the show and are currently in communication with Fox Studios about putting together a pilot episode.
