Randy's birthday is coming up, and I have a sneaking suspicion he may soon own seasons 1 and 2 of The Adventures of Pete and Pete.  May I be so bold as to suggest a screening of the episode "Halloweenie" at some point between Horrorfest features?

You WILL come tubing, oh yes.  Randy wants to relive some of the events of The Lost Weekend, and we can't do it without you (peer pressure, peer pressure, peer pressure).

So, again, I'm a mutant. Not only didn't I make it, but I also cannot figure out how to join a blog (no, I've never done that...). I wanted to leave this comment on the pictures of BMW post:
Trading the juice...oh my how many good laughs that old prank has brought me. I'm really lame for not making it, but I was at the grind until late and then just wanted to crash. I'm really counting on a summer even or two! Maybe...
    the best/worst anti-heroes
    foreign disasters
action films past and present, failed and successful
    Monsters!

    eh?? eh??? ehhh????

Tell Adam he should trade that Wild Irish Juice with human blood, its way cheaper and has many-er magics.

livejournal told me that it may be your birthday today.
    Happy Birthday Mister!

Hope you are doing okay. I miss you at work on saturdays. It has been relentless, as usual. I'm still reading your blog and loving it. Anyways...talk to ya and/or see you soon!

Thanks again for the book. Drop me a cellular line sometime, I'm on campus for lunch quite often these days. Also, the lady just below me mentioned a "Wolfie." I JUST watched T2. It was awesome. I was actually scared of T-1000 Robert Patrick and his stabby-arm. Then I looked up pictures of Robert Patrick on imdb and realized that I would be scared if the whole movie was just Robert Patrick buying some doughnuts. That guy is creepy.

Two things. First, Megan made Wolfie a Facebook account. I think this is horrific. Second, I watched Twister the other day and I was shocked to discover how bad and inaccurate it was. The only perk was Philip Seymour Hoffman as Dusty.

i'm sad i missed horrorfest last weekend. i had issues with migranes saturday night and sunday, which unfortunately, doesn't correspond well with movie watching. blah. sucks. anyhow, missed you at work yesterday.
    hope you feel better!

Liz has been in Ohio for the better part of the week, and the only souvenir she got from that god-forsaken, McCain loving state was a nasty cold virus. She's up for 1408 as soon as she's no longer contagious. Incidentally, speaking in the third person is a symptom of this particular virus. Liz hopes you'll understand.

pretty good, can't complain too much.. what about you?
  • Aug 23 2008 1:13 AM

Now we can play e-tag! The first week was pretty traumatic, as a matter of fact.
    Call me on Saturday!
  • Jul 29 2008 5:51 PM

does it help if I tell you I was really sad about it? I didn't want to kill you but you were coming after me. creepo. Please don't work somewhere else! Where would I get my daily dose of sass from then? Plus I doubt we could find someone as cuddly and who can get us the hook up at Ed McKays.
  • Jul 28 2008 8:08 PM

I dreamed that I killed you last night. It was really sad and scary.
  • Jul 28 2008 3:17 AM

you and your picture are dorks. I suppose thats what makes you so lovable. That or Wolfy.

I thought you should know that he has made lots of new friends and admirers.

I thought you would be happy to know that I've gone on a Freaks and Geeks rampage. It's bad. Your blog lets me know you're still alive since every time I go into Ed McKay's you are not there.

    DONE!

    (slams pencil on desk)

Congratulations, Riannon. You have completed your Spring 2007 semester. You are now one step up from a slacker.
    Quasi-slacker.
    Hazaa.

Looks like Teeth must wait until....until this whole incomplete thing blows over. psshhh. I'm working on it now, though. Really. No, really. This is a time out. A little break is all...

Holy christ, I'm going to have to send this through a translation program! It's too longggg!!!! I don't wannaaa!!!!
  • Jun 5 2008 4:28 AM

oh sassy friend. I miss seeing you in the office. we need to hang out more.
  • Jun 3 2008 2:42 AM

I have heard Teeth is a must see. Aye we be too poor in these parts to go a-gettin' Netflix again...tis a pity. So if you find yrself a copy, I've found yrself a viewing partner.
Also, I made Domenic watch some of the Star Trek I have of yrs here...hah it was the greatest television viewing experience he's e'er had or will have, I'm sure.
I must bring it back to you (with interest?), though...

So after watching National Treasure 2, Megan and I both came to the conclusion that it was really bad and that Indiana Jones was like 500 bajillion times better if just because it didn't take itself seriously like Nicky Cage. I also love blatant cultural misrepresentations/inaccuracies and for some reason they seem to proliferate in regards to Mesoamerican (although according to Jerry Bruckheimer Olmecs were totally smoking the peace pipe with Cherokees). Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that this means there might be some hope in redeeming our movie viewing since we can now recognize "bad.
