My name is Dean Engle. I write embarrassingly personal songs and then play them on my ukulele.
This project began January 13th, 2008, when I bought a ukulele on my seventeenth birthday.

Dean! In my fortune cookie the other night it said "call an old friend today", and I procrastinated a little but I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I just wanted to say that beyond the whole I-haven't-talked-to-you-in-a-year-despite-the-fact-you're-my-sisters-ex thing, it comes down to I miss you and I hope you're having fun in college. You really were my favorite! Sometimes I click onto hear and listen to "ten chances" until it gets stuck in my head. Once again, hope college is good.
Yeah. we have a shed in the backyard that we are planning to throw shows in and we'll definitely let you know when we do! Thanks for listening and liking man... your tunes and art are both great.
thanks a lot man. it really was a spur-of-the-moment deal which is why i mumble words for some of it, but it became something. im glad you like it. i think im gonna start reading some more robert burns haha
