    MINT MIX is a full service sound studio located in Venice California. Housed inside of Switch Studios, a boutique post facility, Mint Mix and Switch work as a team to provide a full line of sound and picture services. Over the past 5 years the two companies have worked in almost every facet of the industry specializing in full sound packages and HD finishing for feature films, documentaries, TV specials and commercials. The facility includes a 30 seat THX Digital Screening Room and Dolby approved mix stage, Editorial Suites, and a shooting kitchen housed in an architecturally unique building next to the Venice Canals. Our clients include HBO, Sony, LG, Hyundai, Discovery, Military Channel, Science Channel and many independent production companies.

Greetings! and welcome to Mint Mix. while we work to build a minty fresh new website to launch our first "official" year as an independent company, we have put up this temporary site to keep everyone interested in the know on the happenings with Mint as well as Switch Studios our sister company. This is an exciting time around the studio. After 5 long years of collaboration, we have seen strong growth with clients new and old returning with fun and exciting projects. 2008 was a great year for us. We added 3 more feature films, 3 documentaries and a slew of promos to our credit list. We would like to give a special shout out to David Wulf and Ben Gourley with "Repo", Maclain Nelson, Steve Shimek and David Wulf with "Dragon Hunter" and Paul Solet, Austin Wintory, Cory Neal, Adam Green, Scott Einbinder, Simon Edery and everyone at Ariescope and Leomax with "Grace" for crafting wonderful theatrical films. Mint Mix along with Switch Studios wishes the best and brightest screens for your work to shine on! This year we also collaborated on 3 amazing docs: "Resolved" Directed by Greg Whiteley and Edited by Tom Runquist. A powerful look at the state of high speed high school policy debate. "Same Same but Different" Directed by Rosylyn Rhee is a journey of personal rediscovery and a quest to find the love of her father lost to a cultural divide. And "Blue Gold" Directed by Sam Bozzo. A film exposing the privatization of the world's water supply and the impending global water crisis that is due to come. Certainly not least all the gang over at Montgomery & Co. Creative who have given us opportunities to explore both our explosive side with many (many) Military Channel promos and our Brainy side with promos for Science Channel and The Discovery Channel. Special thanks to Debbie Rankin, Janine Worrell and Ben Pile for a great year together. Please visit us often, we are hoping to maintain this site with fresh news and events related to the studio. Also, Brooke Lowrey deserves a mention before we sign off. Many of you already know her as she has been instrumental in keeping the projects running smoothly as both a sound editor and now as mint mix's production co-ordinator.
