A guitarless rock band may seem strange at first, but the piano, bass, drums, and sax group, Minus Six, have proven they can derive an impressive rock sound despite not having a guitar, thus leading to the band’s name Minus Six.
Formed in 2003, the band includes Kevin Carton (Piano and Lead Vocals), Kameron Rummans (Bass and Vocals), Matt Sivertsen (Saxophones), and Rob Baner (Drums).
Over the past three years the group has been writing and arranging original compositions and performing at Midwestern venues. Minus Six released their debut album, entitled Overdue, in June of 2004. They recorded their second album, Some Things Change, on Music Row, in Nashville, TN., which was released in August of 2005. The group returned to Nashville in August of 2006 to record their third album, Hidden Deep in the Green, which was released in early 2007.
All four band members are Illinois Quad City natives - Kevin, Matt, and Rob are all from Moline. Kameron is from Rock Island.
Minus Six is a rock / pop orientated group that draws influences from many styles. They fill their concerts with inspired original music and use their unique style and contagious energy to play hits from the present and the past. A Minus Six concert is an experience for everyone.

where can i hear the old stuff? like "i was at the denny's near motel six, she was drinking coffee i was eatin' breadsticks, she was sittin' just two booths from me, when i noticed she got up to leave, i said hey won't you stick around a while, two months later we were walkin' down the aisle, bought a house with a chiminey up above, we livin' in a fairy tale love."
if i remembered correctly... it's been almost 6 years since i've heard it...
Well don't I feel foolish! I did google search for lyrics but I thought it came up without any decent results. Thanks for the help! :) Keep on making awesome music.
I don't know if it's coincidence or you saw my recent comment, but thank you so much for uploading more tracks! I can't wait to listen. By the way, is there anywhere you guys have your lyrics posted or am I just gonna have to transcribe them myself? :)
So glad you guys put up "Nobody". I've been wanting it for my page for some time now. The only other one I would like is "Where is the Love?" or "Good Days".
Hey! A Chicago friend of mine recommended your band to me and I've fallen in love with the songs you've got up here! I have a huge soft spot for piano/brass in rock music. When will you guys have new songs up? I've been listening to these over and over and I can't wait to hear more.
OMG! You guys were absolutely FANTASTICCC on Saturday at The Brew! A friend of mine said I should go, and I am soooo glad I did. It was a BLAST! thanks! xoxoxoxoxoxo
