Minute 61 is a band formed in Tennessee in 1995 with Gabriel Miller on vocals and guitar, Ben Miller on drums, Tyler Chen on guitar, and Steve Gaskell on bass. They started out playing upbeat, christian pop punk music. Later in their career they started incorporating screaming and darker lyrics in their music. After numerous line-up changes they eventually broke up around 2000 with Gabe and Ben going on to form bands such as The Invocation.
Gabe died of a drug overdose in August 2006. Ben is currently playing in Remington Rafael in Dallas, Texas. Steve is in Mouth Movements, located in Knoxville, Tennesse. Tyler is doing solo music which you can check out on his myspace.
