-MIODIO- (Pronounce: ME ODEO) was formed in the winter of 2002.
A number of significant live and studio events lead to the release in 2006 of their first EP containing five tracks, which was produced by the label “Acanto” owned by the producer and composer Andrea Felli.
In 2007 they entered into an exclusive contract with "Opera Prima", a record label established by Andrea Felli, Massimo Nardi e Roberto Fiacchini, releasing there first single “It's Ok”, which is still played by more than a hundred national radio stations.
The song has been also included in the soundtrack of the movie “Il Soffio dell’Anima” coming soon to theatres nationwide and is listed in the catalogue of the prestigious and renowned “iTunes Store”.
The name of the band is provocative and impressive but hides a deep reflection… “you must learn to see how much you hate yourself until you look at yourself in the mirror and see the reflection of your thoughts, you will use every person you meet as a mirror reflecting what you think of yourself…”

-MIODIO- can boast numerous live participations. These are the most significant:
-Participation in the Renato Zero’ tour "MpZero Tour 2007" as Supporters: Olympic Stadium, Rome; San Siro Stadium, Milan; Euganeo Stadium, Padua; Franchi Stadium, Florence; Victory Stadium, Bari; Velodrome, Palermo; 500.000 spectators.
-Participation in the famous TV program "Matinée", on the channel RAI 2.
-Winners of the 17th edition of San Marino Festival.
-Winners of the prize “Viva Music” and “Best Original Song” at "2006 Arts Festival" in Bologna. Art Director Andrea Mingardi.
-"12th Biennial of Young Artists of Europe and the Mediterranean" held in Naples, where the band in representation of the Republic of San Marino presented a 30 minute short subject entirely shot, edited and produced by themselves and awarded by an international jury.
-Supporters to the singer Dolcenera during the "2006 Feast of the Republic of San Marino", first San Marino band to perform in this event.
At present the Band is recording their first Album that will be released for summer 2008.

-MIODIO- nasce nell'inverno 2002.
Una serie di significative esperienze Live ed in Studio hanno portato alla realizzazione, nel 2006, del primo EP contenente cinque tracce prodotto dall'etichetta “Acanto” del produttore e compositore Andrea Felli.
Nel 2007 siglano un contratto in esclusiva per "Opera Prima", casa discografica fondata da Andrea Felli, Massimo Nardi e Roberto Fiacchini, realizzando il singolo “It's Ok” programmato in oltre cento Emittenti Radiofoniche Nazionali.
Il Brano è stato inoltre inserito nella colonna sonora del film “Il Soffio dell’Anima” in uscita nelle sale cinematografiche Nazionali ed è presente sul catalogo del prestigioso e rinomato “iTunes Store”.
Il nome della band, provocatorio e d’impatto nasconde una riflessione profonda… “devi imparare a vedere quanto ti odi; finché non guarderai te stesso allo specchio per vedervi riflessi i tuoi pensieri, userai ogni persona che incontri come uno specchio che ti mostra ciò che pensi di te…”
“Un'attenta e minuziosa ricerca sonora, unita a testi dinamici e taglienti, sono caratteristiche fondamentali di un progetto già pluripremiato. La musica dei MIODIO nasce attraverso l’utilizzo di strumentazioni ricercate, il supporto di tecnologie all’avanguardia, l’innesto e le contaminazioni di un’elettronica a volte “ruvida” ma sempre raffinata. Il tutto fa da cornice ad uno scenario di enorme impatto emotivo.”
-MIODIO- può vantare numerose esperienza Live, tra le più significative:
-Parteciperà a “Eurovision 2008” con il brano “Complice”.
-Partecipazione al "MpZero Tour 2007" di Renato Zero in qualità di Supporter: Stadio Olimpico, Stadio SanSiro, Stadio Euganeo, Stadio Franchi, Arena della Vittoria di Bari e Velodromo di Palermo per un totale di oltre 500.000 spettatori.
-Partecipazione alla trasmissione televisiva "Matinée", in onda su RAI 2.
-Vincitori del "XVII° Festival di San Marino"
-Vincitori premio “Viva Music” e “Miglior Brano Originale” al "Festival delle Arti 2006" di Bologna. Direzione Artistica a cura di Andrea Mingardi.
-Partecipazione alla "XII Biennale dei Giovani Artisti D'Europa e Mediterraneo" a Napoli, dove il Gruppo, in rappresentanza della Repubblica di San Marino, ha presentato un Cortometraggio di 30' interamente Girato, Montato e Prodotto da loro stessi e premiato da una giuria Internazionale.
-Supporter a Dolcenera durante la "Festa Della Repubblica di San Marino 2006", primo gruppo Sammarinese ad esibirsi in questa manifestazione.
Attualmente la Band è impegnata in Studio di Registrazione per la realizzazione del loro primo Album in uscita per l’estate 2008.
