    The first time I thought about the Miraldo project was in 2005. Up until that point, I had been involved as a professional musician with a lot of different projects, never really wanting to take the "solo" route. As I preferred the team approach, I always dreamed of having this great band and making it big while avoiding the spotlight. However, as much as I worked with different people it always seemed like there was this void to fill in my life – in none of those bands was I the lead singer. I needed music that really resonated with me, that truly expressed what I am as a songwriter and where I could express myself as a singer. I wrote a batch of lyrics that needed to stay together so it seemed the perfect time to start my own solo project. Whenever I had the chance I would work on this, composing the songs, refining the lyrics, recording some demos. This of course meant that it was taking too long as I would put all my other projects first. In 2009, this became my main focus. I started recording my debut solo album and even though I've had great help on the process it still meant facing lots of hurdles: I've been trying to pull all of this on my own, without labels or producers, learning the basics about recording as I go and with little resources. I invited several friends to help me out with it. Nevertheless, it has been a great test to my will. The album is currently on the mixing stage so in early 2012 it will finally be released. Bio:

I had the idea for this project in 2005. A long time ago... Slowly I started writting songs, lyrics, making crappy demos, etc. However, only recently did I start taking this seriously and truly applying myself and that's why it's taking so long! It's not easy to overcome the hurdles we face when we want to make a record. Up until this point, I always made everybody else's projects a priority. Now it's my turn. I asked some friends to help me and we started recording these and other tracks that will follow. Hope You enjoy listening to these demo "soon-to-be-finished" songs and hopefully I will manage to finish recording the entire album. Miraldo
