Miranda has always been involved with music - listening to a wide range of music genres from a young age, which is now reflected in the diversity of her songs. After writing, recording and performing with several bands including RAIN (whose "Heart Of Your Love" was a hit on CrossRhythms radio), she has finally taken the plunge to go it alone and release her first solo project album.
Working alongside best friend and co-writer Chris Smith (producer and co-owner of Raindance Studios, Amblecote, UK), she has put together an impressive collection of songs.
Miranda's voice has been compared to Karen Carpenter, Sheryl Crow, Judy Tsuke and Kylie (!) amongst others and has received praise from audiences and industry professionals alike... With songs moving from latin-tinged pop and gentle acoustic ballads to rock and guitar-heavy tracks, her style is a rich tapestry of sound that defies labels... If you like music that refuses to conform to stereotypes but delights at every turn, you need to hear this!
