And to be honest, Miranda is not a Myspace user. She doesn't know anything about adding friends, etc. But she gets that this is where you guys hang out and she'll check in with this page from time to time. And she'll keep me updated with breaking news. Terrific things will happen here.
sincerely,
Secretary for Miranda July
Hi, Miranda =]!!! You probably won't give a shit 'bout what I'll write here, maybe you come online once a year and you're surely too busy to reply to comments. So, approximately there could be 'bout a 98% probability that you'll read this but still...There's this 2% probability that is teasing me, plus, I'm a dickhead, so, here we go. Just wanted to tell you that you're one of my biggest sources of inspiration, that I LOVE your works and my dream is to become an artist as clever, intuitive and sensitive as you are. Ok. THE END. That's it XD. Now, if you're the REAL Miranda and you've actually read this, please, leave me a comment to let me know, ok =]?

Here's a sample poem from the collection:
Girl with Silver Pooper Scooper
She stared into my eyes with the same look that must have inspired the lyrics of the Star-Spangled Banner.
If you could see the way she tilted her head, her hair unraveling
or the way she gripped the handle like an elegant English tea pot.
She had a look in her eyes, a look that could get tax breaks for the poor.
She must have known I was weak in the knees or knew I’d mention something about gas prices or some other very lame small talk audible if given the opportunity.
I could tell she was enjoying my eyes running up and down the landscape of her body, dancing with her every movement.
O, the way she bent to scoop a tiny pile of dog shit into her baggy.
Her look was one of someone familiar with Russian beauty salons.
She was 1/4 suggestion box, 1/4 menstrual cycle, 1/2 midnight PBS special.
hello secretary of miranda july! whenever you get a chance, can you tell miranda how wonderful "no one belongs here more than you" is?
i want to make sure she knows. because sometimes people make wonderful things, but if nobody tells them, how do they know? so i thought i should tell her, just in case.
thanks! i hope you have a great day and get a raise, too. :]
