Miriam's music encorporates a great mixture of her ethnic upbringings--being born and raised in South Africa--and a great new age blend of layered harmonies, jazz & percussion. As one of the world's most successful backing vocalists, this gorgeous voice just keeps on surprising us with her talent.
You may recognize her from her years devoted to the classical masterpieces of Adiemus, or if you have followed her career closely--from her vocal performance on Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit where she sang Perfect Day. She also sang on the soundtrack of many other well known films such as Great Expectations, Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring, and onwards.
Miriam has recorded with many artists including Freddie Mercury, Queen (post Freddie Mercury), Chaka Khan, Tom Jones, Tina Turner, Kylie Minogue and many more...

I first heard the song “Adiemus” around 1995 while I was on hold waiting for a Delta Airlines agent to answer my call. I asked the agent for the name of the song and immediately bought the cd. I became totally hooked.
I was OBSESSED with this album. I listened all day, every day. I even memorized the so called "lyrics".
The entire album is filled with totally beautiful music. And your singing is absolutely mesmerizing.
