About me: Our name comes from the root word mir which becomes miras (wonderment) and
mirari (to wonder) in latin, mirar or mirer (to look) in spanish and french, mirror (to reflect) in english, miru (to watch or to look at) in japanese, and mir (peace/world) in russian.
The mission of Mir Productions is to create theater that crosses and breaks down cultural and language boundaries by supporting new work and exploring interdisciplinary art forms. There is a particular emphasis on integrating movement with text and theater, but we are also interested in exploring the design elements of sound, visual art and film. Mir Productions is particularly interested in developing
new works in this manner, but is also open to freshly examining traditional
works from an interdisciplinary or multicultural perspective.
Who I'd like to meet: Artists interested in collaboration. Producers. Patrons. People who are interested in our goings on.

Sorry I haven't written much, but I've been sooo busy. Just got home from vacation and I'm trying to get back on track.
Whatcha been up to lately?
Congrats on the show!! I really enjoyed it, thanks again. Hope you can make it to my theatre company's benefit on the 16th. I'm doing Life is a Dream with Flux Theatre Ensemble, and the benefit is for that show as well as some readings leading up to it. Heart you, don't be a stranger, now.

Twas' our last night of Jack, audience small as a mouse, despite that our true people showed up rocked the house, so much thanks for support those who came to show us love. Second time's the hard, one ay yes, there's the rub. For sometime we've said "third time's the charm." Seems next year Mir's takin' over, no need for alarm. Beware Calm after storm, our production fucks norms, if you have any qualms make you dust we'll enbalm...six feet under no more, next project teach you more, theatre never a bore, burning Bush we're at War, question stereotypes sure, we have ideas galore, so you best recognize that we see with "real" eyes, tell your friends to realize collaborations will rise! So for the last time Mir Says special in rhymes, Not Bustin' real crimes, make you sour like limes. Cat's out of the bag like Jack's out of the box, Frog has hard time bein' green, eat ham eggs with that fox see, ladies our theatre is hard as a rock, Star's burning will go out as clock ticks while we talk. Bout' Time channels like English, school points to ears like Spock, educate all great ideas start from a spark, so watch out as we create from naught make the art, we made Jack from process a pretty good start...
