"Above all, Mirrek is our artistic voice. We refuse to live any other way than by that which we hold closest - our love for music. A lot of our own music is based on unspoken stories and surreal imagery that we usually try to implement into our composition. Experimental techniques, explosive distortion and delicate melodies are painted on what we have started to call our "wall of sound". Having so many dynamics helps us keep every creative outlet open. The idea of turning an instrumental three-piece into the sound of five leaves us with a lot of options... but honestly, we love the challenge. We try not to fit ourselves into a single genre. Not because we are against genres... but because it's actually been kind of difficult to peg one down. The music ranges from progressive/post rock to electronic, to experimental.
We like to think we're doing something unique and true to ourselves. We may not be on the top 10 radio or have the catchy lyrics everybody is used to, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It's more important to us that we play for a room full of people that we can really connect with than a stadium full of people that will forget our name in 6 months. Do or die, we are pretty much obsessed with what we have found together as musicians. And really, in the end, we just want to compose. We want to write music we love."

Thanks for the invite! Check out this tribute to Michael Jackson video on you tube. This is a non-profit song that I made called "Inspiration" and I want to share this song with you! Watch, Listen, and Enjoy!
You were right the first guess! Beautiful Independence Grove (: But that would be so interesting if I were in a different forest preserve somewhere across the states and still you'd feel you've been just there... Oh but then that's just a mind wandering.
Ohh, hoodies would be pretty fantastic. I'm definitely looking forward to next year! A full length album, shows again, AND eventual hoodies? What more could a fan ask for! ;P
Ahhh, you guys were phenomenal last night, I'm so glad I finally got to see you! I've got my hands on some nifty merch that I be uploadin' now. You definitely rocked Castlevania. Fantastic show - it's just a bummer to know I won't get to see you again for a couple months now, haha!
